Stayed here before a couple of times but it’s definitely gone down a few notches.

The restaurant and bar were unable or didn’t know how to give me a VAT receipt for my company expenses which is ridiculous!!
Also when i eventually got my meal they brought my starter and main course at the same time insisting this how it was served.
Also the key cards are a nightmare when you try together into your room. Witnessed someone one else also having trouble.

A Very Pleasant stay, would highly recommend especially if on a budget.
Pros:

Easy to get and was close to area I needed to be in. Staff were also very helpful and pleasant, It is also not too far from the main town about 10 minutes in the car.

Cons:

The rooms can feel a little dated and stagnant, The floors especially even in the comfort of you room isn't something I would recommend walking barefoot on. If you opt for a bigger room in the winter months you will want to ask for a heater at the reception the little heater in the room will struggle on it's own.

A warm welcome and lovely people, extremely clean. wifi signal needs boosting to reach all rooms
Pros:

The hotel was easy to find and well signposted.
All the staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Not just on reception but also those in the restaurant and the cleaning staff
The room was exceptionally clean, the bed was comfortable and the heater worked well.

Cons:

The wifi signal did not reach my room (no 3) - I was told there were problems with wifi in all ground floor rooms
There was no way to contact reception (which was in a different building) from the room
The room I stayed in (No 3) had a wetroom, and the shower drained extremely slowly, leading to a big puddle.
The safety chain must have been forced at some time because the chain holder was bent.
No sockets by the bed to plug my phone in (which I use as an alarm)
