Fantastic breakfast!
Pros:

Excellent breakfast, full of variety and constantly replenished. Good location near station and city centre but quiet for sleeping at night. Rear courtyard was a nice place to eat breakfast.

Cons:

Breakfast room is small and crowded, and you have to book the time you want to eat on arrival.

Great staff and excellent location.
Pros:

Excellent friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was fantastic—huge selection to suit all tastes, and service was very good. Bed was large and comfortable. Location a few steps from the station couldn’t be more convenient. Nice restaurants nearby, too. Short walk to the Rhine and the old town.

Cons:

Bathroom was tiny—but it was clean and the shower was powerful.

Für eine Nacht ok - länger eher nicht.
Pros:

Die Lage ist sehr gut. Frühstück war sehr lecker und reichlich.

Cons:

Der Fernseher hat nicht funktioniert. Kein Föhn im Bad. Ventilator zu laut. Keine Steckdose für den Ventilator.

Das Personal war perfekt. Das Frühstück super! Schade das es keine Bar am Abend gibt.

Convenient location, clean and friendly.
Pros:

The hotel was very well located for walking acceess to all the nearby sights, including the river, the cathedral, the chocolate museum and the old town. Places to eat and drink were easy to find and walk to. The staff were helpful and spoke English, and kept my luggage until departure much later in the day. The breakfast was fabulous - great variety and mostly self serve. Included fresh fruit, creeals, yoghurt, passtries, cold meats and cheeses, a great vegetarian section, and eggs to order, with fresh coffee. Free wi-fi.

Cons:

My room (50) was at the top of a flight of quite steep stairs as the lift only went to the floor below. It was also in the loft space so it was like an oven in there. Although a fan was provided, this did not cool the space. I would suggest that the hotel provide some sort of bracket to hold the roof windows open about 10 cms to allow night time breezes in. At present the windows have to be wide open or shut. Noisy guests in the room adjacent coming in after midnight woke me up as the floor is old and noisy - it might be an idea to investigate noise dampening flooring.
