Had an attic room, to hot ,also to many stairs. Wood go again stay in a different room , had a good stay
Friendly staff and helpful when required.
Breakfast choice was good, they do not do meals except Sunday I think.
It had parking which the other hotels in the town do not.

Beautiful town and interesting area.
Room, 9 (Dovecote) it was a shame that we had to many things wrong with this room in one visit, it is on its own away from main building. Ground floor very noisy from traffic and people chatting on Main Street outside the front window, felt like there was no privacy as people looked in the side window when walking past. Bedroom door did not fit the frame so daylight gap at bottom and sides, bathroom door did not close it had dropped, this was fixed after telling the owners. No internet connection in the room, and TV signal kept dropping out and picture went distorted for the 3 days, was told it was down to weather and the room! Bottled Water from a fridge was offered but only sparkling was available, tap water was warm even after running the tap for ages as recommended.
This was our honey moon and if it wasn’t for how nice the town is and the friendly staff in places where we ate and tourist attraction it could have been a big disappointment. But over all we had a really nice time in Dunster.

Nothing worth mentioning
This lovely little hotel was an add on visit as we wanted to visit Dunster and the castle. The hotel, village and castle were all fantastic. John and Lisa made us so welcome and we enjoyed their yummy roast dinner.

We can highly recommend this lovely old hotel, splendid position and parking.
The hosts John and Lisa were welcoming, attentive, helpful and lovely, nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was clean and comfortable and the food was delicious especially the well presented Greek yogurt and fresh fruit. There was also the added bonus of being able to use a communal fridge and kitchen area for snacks and takeaways for when the restaurant and bar area is closed We drank our fizz in the bar area. All in all a lovely short break.
Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet. auf Grund unserer kurzfristigen Buchung war nur das kleinste Zimmer frei. Das Bett war zwar etwas schmal, sonst war es trotzdem sehr angenehm.

Our breakfast was top rate before we departed and we were sad to go. If we had, had more time, we would have loved to have stayed on longer.
