Wir hatten nur wenige Stunden Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel, weil wir regelrecht „rausgeschmissen“ wurd

Gar nichts hat gefallen!

Cons:

Einige Stunden nach dem Einchecken erklärten sie uns , dass wir in ein anderes Hotel vermittelt werden. Grund waren Reparaturarbeiten am Feuermelder. Wir beobachteten allerdings, dass das nicht stimmen konnte, da weitere Gäste eincheckten. Wir vermuten seitens des Hotels eine Überbuchung. Das Ersatzhotel entsprach keineswegs dem gebuchten Standard. Es war schmutzig, laut und abgewohnt. Für uns völlig inakzeptabel. Es gab keine Kooperation seitens des Southern plaza Hotels. Folglich mussten wir uns selbst ein Hotel suchen. Wir sind sehr enttäuscht, dass das Management vom Southern Plaza sich weder kooperativ zeigte noch eine Entschuldigung ausgesprochen hatte. Empörend ist auch, dass das Ersatzhotel untersten Standard hatte . Unverständlich ist auch, dass der Fehler einer Überbuchung nicht eingestanden wurde , sondern eine Ausrede benutzt wurde um uns „los zu werden“
Wir werden nie wieder Southern Plaza buchen!!!

Overall great stay. Just some additional cleanliness to make this is a hotel of choice.
Pros:

Hotel is located at a very good location and easy access to many amenities. Staff are very friendly and good. Rooms are in a good condition. Toilets are in bad shape (old and stained). Breakfast ok if you are not a picky eater. Staff at the breakfast hall also very friendly. Overall value for money.

Cons:

Under the beds are full of dust and rubbish left behind by past guests. Staff need to move all beds atleast once a month and clean underneath and around the bed. Vacuum and mop the floor with dis-infectant daily. Please change toilet bowls which are stained.

Terrible stay, avoid at any cost.
Pros:

There is nothing much to like about it. Only advantage is close to the Dhakuria Lake.

Cons:

The entrance is next to a garbage disposal, making it very smelly. The corridors smell of cigarettes. The bed linens are old and weary, the AC works when it feels like. The stiff are only interested in tips and not in doing work. The receptionist was too rude and lazy. I could go on. And it’s as expensive as five stars when it is a two star or less property.

Pros:

Property is situated at a vantage point - close proximity to lake, staff is very helpful but there was an unpleasant odour despite all room fresheners. It’s conveniently located.

Nothing remarkable.
Pros:

Very basic. Nothing remarkable. It starts at 7:30AM which is surprising as breakfast starts at 6:30AM in most hotels.

Cons:

Room was very basic. Toilet was just about ok. There were mosquitoes in the room and toilet. The linen was kind of smelly.

Pros:

The location is great, the price is affordable, the staff is helpful.

Cons:

Cleanliness can be much better. Torn curtains should be replaced. AC controls are bad.

Pros:

Breakfast was Ok. Other Fruits such as papaya, musk melon, yellow banana and so also cucumber would add to the ones who prefer to have them. Local Bengali cuisine breakfast could be welcome for guests coming from outstations.

AC is not effective.
