breakfast was ok would of liked more choice like cereals
A really nice place to stay, the rooms are in a converted stable block behind the pub, so no noise even on a Saturday night. The room was really nice, almost boutique hotel level, clean and warm. The free wi-fi was fast too. I was really pleased with my stay, even though it was just one night, on a work trip. I'd happily return.
Plenty of free parking, though as this is a pub, the car park can fill up at certain times. Get there in the day, and you'll be fine though, I'm sure.

The staff were polite and helpful and did try to remedy the problems but the issues should not have been there to begin with.
Unfortunately the toilet had not been cleaned, there was no heating and no WiFi in the room.
The staff did try to remedy this and I was moved to another room. The heating was put on but the WiFi was very poor. This all took some time so I did not have the peaceful rest that I was hoping for. Overall would not recommend not worth the money!
Friendly staff, nice bar
The parking is full of rubbish, a better housekeeping outside would give a much better appearance. Breakfast starts too late during the week.

WiFi was very weak, breakfast is not available until 8am at the earliest.

We were late on a Friday got last space in tight car park
The room was decorated nicely. The tea and coffee making facilities were good and it was spacious. The bed was comfortable.
The windows need curtains as the light comes in through the blinds. The towels are too small. I much prefer a bath sheet to wrap comfortably around me rather than a bath towel that barely joins together. The duvet cover needs to be bigger so that there is duvet to spare. A double bed needs a kingsize duvet.
The staff were really friendly and helpful, the breakfast was lovely, the room was just what we needed. The location is great for getting into leeds in 20 minutes. We would definitely stay here again.
