Would highly recommend. Accommodation was comfortable with large bedroom and wnsuite. The hotel had great meals too.

Loved it for its quirkiness and staff, the huge bedrooms and train access. Manager could be warmer
Pros:

Quirky old style hotel.. think Fawlty Towers without the mayhem. Huge rooms, superbly maintained, traditional and no noise from next door. Also attached to an excellent pub.

Cons:

It was a little hard to get in at 10am, we even thought it may be closed. Reception should be open earlier. Manager was a little formal, lacked warmth

Overall good
Pros:

Location was great, staff were very friendly and overall the room was a decent size.

Cons:

I didn’t like that our booking said it included parking but when asked the hotel said it was first in best dress and that they don’t have enough car parks to rooms ratio. Because of this we ensured to be there directly at check in to get a park but I believe the hotel should remove the parking included in the booking confirmations and advertisement as you may not actually get a car park then be left stuck trying to find where to park your car safely over night.

A nice place to stay!
Pros:

Location.
Easy transport to and from the Australian Open.

Cons:

It’s a bit dated. 1980’s’s style decor in need of an update. Bathrooms could do with a bit of modernizing.

Pros:

Great location, was able to get on site parking over the weekend. near to trams and trains. the room service kept the tean and coffee stocked up.

Cons:

No issues with the stay, room was nice, and venue was in a good place to access City by train and tram.

Pros:

The gentleman at check in was helpful and friendly. The room had an amazing boutique older style feel with very lush leather seating and a comfortable king size bed. It was very clean and the coffee and tea were generous. Over all a nice place I would stay at again.
