Welcoming the chef was great
Pros:

Really nicely decorated good taste in rooms. Food fantastic lovely chef that looked after us throughout our stay because the place was closed. So we were the only people in there.

A lovely country inn overnight stay
Pros:

A lovely country inn, very friendly staff and we enjoyed an excellent evening meal and breakfast the following morning. The bedroom was nicely decorated and very clean, ensuite had a great power shower

Cons:

The only issue was my wife, who has back issues, found the bed mattress too hard for her, although it was fine for me

A gem of a country inn
Pros:

Easy to find, great parking, lovely quirky, spotless, comfortable and very welcoming. The owners and all their staff were friendly and professional, the rooms were immaculate, the restaurant and bar area was warm, cosy and very comfy. The food was delicious and great quality with lots of choice. Would highly recommend.

A comfortable hotel very friendly staff excellent location for touring north Yorkshire
Pros:

Breakfast mains very good
Rooms and the hotel in general were very stylish
the evening menu looked delicious although we only sampled it on our first night. I wish we could have eaten there on other nights

Cons:

I would have liked some muesli and plain yogurt on the breakfast menu.
My husband and I would have liked a less rigid duvet - but we appreciated the generous size .

Welcoming and comfortable stay in a country pub.
Pros:

The property was a lovely furnished and cosy interior. The restaurant and bar was inviting and bedrooms were comfortable, well stocked and clean. The breakfast was delicious and had a good selection of hot food to choose from in the morning of our stay.

A great find in a perfect location
Pros:

An immaculately clean & tastefully designed pub. The food was lovely especially the breakfast & the staff were all helpful & friendly. Great location with free parking. Would definitely recommend.
