A comfortable stay with very pleasant staff and good food
Pros:

Food was hot and well cooked and good quality coffee and decaf tea. A good choice of cooked breakfast

Ripon visit staying in Wath.
Pros:

Everything about this place was top notch. Lovely building in a lovely village a few miles from Ripon. The rooms were very clean with comfortable beds. The staff were all great and the food at breakfast was a good start to the day. We also ate there one evening and everybody loved their meals.

Great place to dine and stay
Pros:

we thoroughly enjoyed out stay at The George, its a vibrant, busy village pub with bags of atmosphere and popular with the locals. WE had a warm friendly welcome and were shown to our room quickly, the room was well equipt with everything we needed, it was clean and fresh and very comfortable. we ate 2 evening meals and 2 breakfasts and enjoyed every last bite. The food was superbly cooked and well presented, and the young waitress was very careful with my dietry request. In the morning we met the chef who also served breakfast, again the full English breakfast was beautifully cooked, and was served piping hot. we can't wait to go back. Thankyou to all of the staff for providing such fantastic service.

Cons:

I aren't that keen on the answering service on the telephone.

Pros:

Very clean, comfortable, obviously redecorated within the last few years, exceptionally helpful staff. I stayed on a Monday when the associated bar was closed, but the chef still came in to cook for me.

Large room with modern decor & spotless bathroom. The bed was big & extremely comfy.

Good food in a quiet location.
Pros:

Excellent food, both the cooked breakfast and the Sunday roast, which was the best I've had at a pub/restaurant. The location in the lovely village of Watt is idyllic and very quiet, which is just how we like it. Staff couldn't be more helpful.

Cons:

The room was a touch small, but otherwise excellent.

If you are looking for a country inn that is exceptionally clean and offers great food then this is for you.
Pros:

Cleanliness. Friendly staff- particularly the chef. Excellent evening meal and breakfasts

Cons:

Nothing really although it would have been nice if the inn had stayed open later on the Sunday evening
