Everything! The hotel was beautiful and the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful.
Nothing!
The breakfast was exceptional - one of the best I have ever had, and excellent value for money (and I told the waitress and the man on reception that). The focus on fresh local produce and homemade bread is to be commended.
Also really good to see a choice of 3 hand-pulled real ales - again local (the Wye Valley brewery).
I appreciate that it is a very old building and that they have done the best that they can to modernise it (eg, an en suite shower) but I was a single person in a double room - two of us would have been rather cramped. The room was also a bit 'tired' - eg, cobwebs in the light shade, a 'dodgy' light switch, the plug chain was disconnected from the sink - so nothing serious but some wear and tear that could do with fixing.
Friendly, girls were polite.
Nothing,
Breakfast and evening meal was very good and was served plenty
The room was clean, but very small and depressing
An old but stunning building full of character and amazing staff. The breakfast is unreal and should be a 4 star hotel easily. They returned a steamer I also left by post free of charger - I offered to pay.
I’m 6,3 so had to duck a couple of times and watch my head but that’s me being too large for a 400 year old building
Lovely food. One of our party asked for something not on menu. It was done with no problem.
The staff, the young ladies were a credit to the falcon, nothing was too much trouble for them, adored them, we had a meal outside, basic meal wanted a nice one but everywhere else was closed.
I want to say so much, but it will just wind me up, just be aware the owner is rude and thinks he knows it all, he does not! Booked 2 nights, could only manage one, made our excuses and left, would rather pay £120 to leave than stay another night. Total rip off, if the owner was not there might have stopped purely for the lovely ladies who obviously run that place. Although to be honest the rooms were not that great either, the shower did not work, and the room was up too many stairs.
Lovely place, lovely people, lovely cats. Allows dogs.
Very old and quirky. We loved being in the eaves! Friendly staff, spotlessly clean, tea and coffee in the room, an abundance of towels and toiletries. Great choice for breakfast. Would definitely return.
Nothing
Loved it very quirky , yes there are stairs but its a listed building , and all part of the experience .

Breakfast was great
Very characterful, attentive and friendly staff, comfy beds, great location, free parking, clean, good value for money.
Could have been a full length mirror in the room.
Great location and rustic charm. Clean, cosy room, with comfortable bed and nice shower. Good coffee at breakfast. Off road parking in the centre of town.
Everything....cosy, atmospheric, welcoming
