Great hotel in a fantastic location. Comfy bed.. Lovely staff.
Pros:

Excellent breakfast and location. A beautiful historic hotel. Staff lovely.

Cons:

Only about a third of a toilet roll in the bathroom and milks were not replaced when we asked. I also needed a ground floor room as my friend is disabled but this could not be accommodated.

Hysterically historic, worth a side trip to experience
Pros:

Quirky, ancient, yet up to the minute plumbing, this hotel captures the essence of English B and B! What a find, we are still buzzing about the history and the hospitality, the breakfast and the black pudding 🙂

Cons:

Nothing,loved everything

Don’t stay here is you want a modern chic hotel, this is characterful and quaint
Pros:

This is a wonderful old hotel with its little quirks and characters. Absolutely charming and the breakfast is exceptional

Cons:

The only criticism I have is that there was a bit of a pongy loo brush and a couple of tears in the net curtain in our room

The old building

Cons:

Sloping floors in the bathroom, not good when you're half asleep going to the bathroom in the middle of the night 😞
