Everything! The hotel was beautiful and the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful.
Nothing!
The breakfast was exceptional - one of the best I have ever had, and excellent value for money (and I told the waitress and the man on reception that). The focus on fresh local produce and homemade bread is to be commended.
Also really good to see a choice of 3 hand-pulled real ales - again local (the Wye Valley brewery).
I appreciate that it is a very old building and that they have done the best that they can to modernise it (eg, an en suite shower) but I was a single person in a double room - two of us would have been rather cramped. The room was also a bit 'tired' - eg, cobwebs in the light shade, a 'dodgy' light switch, the plug chain was disconnected from the sink - so nothing serious but some wear and tear that could do with fixing.
Friendly, girls were polite.
Nothing,
Very characterful, attentive and friendly staff, comfy beds, great location, free parking, clean, good value for money.
Could have been a full length mirror in the room.
Breakfast and evening meal was very good and was served plenty
The room was clean, but very small and depressing
Loved it very quirky , yes there are stairs but its a listed building , and all part of the experience .

Breakfast was great
Lovely place, lovely people, lovely cats. Allows dogs.
Very old and quirky. We loved being in the eaves! Friendly staff, spotlessly clean, tea and coffee in the room, an abundance of towels and toiletries. Great choice for breakfast. Would definitely return.
