Pros:

Great location - Thai cafe, small but comprehensive supermarket, pub and bakery style cafe all v close. Parking $35 per night. Requested a quiet room which was provided. Bed was very soft and comfortable- great night’s sleep.

Cons:

There was a chopping board but no knives other than dinner knives.

unexpected stay
Pros:

the staff were efficient and pleasant. due to flight issue booked in very late in the evening but was still well received.
it was on public transport routes.
there were quality and value for money cafes nearby.
surprisingly quiet for its location
the kitchenette allowed flexible eating options with plenty of shops nearby.

the loud "ding dong" of the lift call button.

Facilities were quite good - disappointed to be downgraded to a smaller room.
Pros:

Good location for my trip - close to cafes and the city.

Cons:

Disappointed to receive a call telling me my room had been downgraded due to having to extend stays of other guests. Was given a voucher for a nearby cafe to make up for the extra money paid for my room.

Great value for money and only a short bus ride into CBD. Would recommend for a Sydney stay.
Pros:

Good location next to Sydney University, with bus stop outside. Lovely clean rooms, with kitchenette. Rooms quiet despite being on a busy road. Great value for money for a Sydney stay.

The only advantage was the location which was near our conference.

Cons:

The garage was terrible. The dividing concrete curb on ramp should be painted white. Going out in the rain to garage was a bit ordinary. Getting a message after making a booking that the garage is extra was disgusting. Shown to park next to a car that was parked on the line.

We love the location. We have stayed there a few times in this hotel and loved it. We bought another couple with us this time.

Cons:

They changed our room. They said we were getting an up grade to a King room. It was no up grade. It was a down grade. The room was so so small. Very disappointed with our stay this time. But our friends room was good. The room smelt of mould. The hair dryer didn’t work properly there was not heat.

Always a pleasant stay. Convenient location for Enmore Theatre & eateries in Newtown. Immaculately clean.
Pros:

Convenient location for a night out at the Enmore Theatre. Handy to loads of eateries on King Street and a couple of local pubs, within a couple of blocks, on Parramatta Road. Our 3rd stay at this property and it is always immaculately clean.

Cons:

We were in a very small room this stay (324). To be honest we had everything we needed, but a bit more space would’ve been good. Will definitely stay again but will remember to request a room at back of the building or on the Lyons Road side.

Comfy haven in a handy location
Pros:

The staff were great, and kindly changed our room to accommodate an unexpected early check-in (heads-up for anyone needing the same - they didn't receive the early-check in request made via booking.com and said it's always better to phone them directly).
While the location isn't quite in the heart of of the action there are lots of little gems in the area, and it's a handy 20 minute walk from both Glebe and Newtown with the bus stop to Central right outside the door.
The sandwich press, hairdryer and shaving mirror were all nice additions too.
Great value, would definitely stay again.

Cons:

The kitchenette was greatly appreciated, but a few more utensils for food preparation (knives, peeler, etc) would be very handy, ditto a proper bottle of washing up detergent. Not a deal-breaker by any means though.

Pros:

It was close to Enmore Theatre, it was very clean., staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

We were on the bottom floor, next to the road and found it had to sleep due to the noise. Yes, apparently you can request courtyard rooms but we didn’t know that prior to booking.
