Pros:

Хорошее месторасположение и вкусные завтраки с хорошим выбором.

Cons:

Номера старенькие. Лифтов мало и они очень медленные, иногда ломаются. Учитывая, что здание высокое, и количество номеров очень большое, лифты работают ненадлежащим образом. Ребята на ресепшн, кроме одной девушки, все делают очень медленно и неохотно. Каждый вопрос или даже оплата занимает очень много времени.

A Piece of History That Needs Attention
Pros:

Honestly, the only thing I liked about this hotel was its history. Hotel Uzbekistan is one of Tashkent's most recognizable buildings, and staying there felt like staying in a piece of the city's history.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the cleanliness and overall condition of the hotel were well below my expectations. My room had trash in the corners, hair in the shower, a leaking toilet, and an old cloth shower curtain that did not feel sanitary. I also experienced inconsistent hot water, including cold showers. The bar service was slow and disappointing.
While I understand that this is a historic property, the hotel is in serious need of renovation. However, a full renovation would likely remove much of the historic character that makes the building unique. In its current condition, I would primarily recommend it to locals or travelers specifically interested in the hotel's history rather than seeking comfort, cleanliness, or a modern hotel experience.

Came for old Soviet hotel and left feeling scammed
Pros:

It was in a good location.

Cons:

There are a lot of problems with this hotel and I would not recommend staying here. The hotel is very old and not in a charming way. There are stains everywhere and many sockets don work. The air conditioning was on but didn’t provide any cooling. The shower didn’t have any hot water. The mattresses were almost as bad as a wooden plank.

The staff were okay, but not very helpful when asking restaurant recommendations for example.

Overall, I would never recommend this place and honestly think that it is a scam trying to profit off of its old name and reputation. Go anywhere else and you’ll thank me.

Неплохо за свои деньги
Pros:

Приветливый персонал, отличное местоположение. На первом этаже в фойе есть множество банкоматов и обмен валюты.

Cons:

На весь (!) отель только 1 утюг, который есть на 5м этаже. Кулер с водой только в фойе на 1м этаже. В коридорах и в номерах не мешало бы освежить ремонт.
