Warm, comfortable, welcoming, great food.
We did request a ground floor room which wasn't allocated, but we did get help with the bags.
Food was great
Its a bit remote but in a beautiful position
It was a great location. Really friendly staff helping us sort a taxi before we even arrived and very attentive staff in the restaurant.
We stayed in the adjoining building which was a lovely comfortable room. Great coffee machine and biscuits. The only thing was the walls were really thin and we could hear our neighbours having a conversation unfortunately at 5am which wasn’t ideal. I would suggest you bring ear plugs if you stay in that building. Everything else was great though.
Both very good

Wonderful time and the bed was excellent!
Nothing
Great location over looking the common -easy walking. Within easy reach of Stroud. There is a bus service outside the hotel but we didn’t have cause to use it so can’t comment.
The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was great - clean, comfortable and good facilities.
The venue is well-presented and appealing to a variety of visitors. Near a road but didn’t hear any traffic.
Great breakfast choice including plant-based full breakfast.
There is electric vehicle charging available - didn’t have cause to use it so can’t comment but it’s there.
Nothing to dislike.
We were given a lovely, comfortable room with great views across the valley.
+We enjoyed a great meal at the hotel.
The lady at reception was very helpful and keen to support visitors
