Central location and comfy beds
Pros:

Central location. Near restaurants, bars and sights.

Cons:

The floors in the bedrooms weren’t that clean. Bathrooms ok but not clean enough.

Royal Hotel Cardiff one night only
Pros:

It was central to various amenities.

Cons:

The windows were dirty. There was no reception desk, you had to walk up 2 sets of stairs to the 2nd floor for reception. There is a lift but it is at the back of the hotel, never ever seen that before. It says on booking.com it has car parking. It doesn't, apparently you get a discount at some car parks which we were not told which ones. We ended up parking in a NCP and had to pay £25 for this with no discount.

Perfect city centre location.
Pros:

Location perfect for Graduation. Air-conditioning was great, lovely big room. & we were put in a quiet room as requested. Staff very friendly & helpful.

Room 406 worst bed I’ve ever been in. Had zero sleep due to slopey mattress, bed creaking loudly when moving slightly. Spoilt the reason for our stay which was some graduation

Didn’t sleep due to stream singer, breakfast not the bast , came away more tired then when we arrived.

Pros:

hotel avec ambiance anglaise, idéalement situé dans rue piétonne principale de Cardiff. Parking public avec tarif préférentiel à proximité.
Très grande chambre / très grand salle de bain / climatisée / ma chambre était très calme
excellent rapport qualité prix !

Der Frühstücksraum, die Betten waren gut

Cons:

der Boden hat geklebt, das Bad schmutzig und mit Schimmel, das Zimmer hatte nur ein einziges kleines Fenster , nicht zu öffnen, wie in einem Keller,
kein WLAN auf dem Zimmer, das angebotene Parkhaus ist für einen SUV nicht zu empfehlen

The room was clean and the location is very good.

Cons:

The hotel stated that it had both parking and a garage neither of which are correct. There is public parking nearby which is discounted but it is not onsite. I would not have chosen this hotel had I known it didn't offer parking. As the booking was not refundable I had to stay anyway.
