Friendly, accommodating and quaint hotel in beautiful location.
Pros:

Lovely hotel with gracious and accommodating onsite staff, comfortable rooms, excellent AC, beautiful views from our balcony, and a wonderful swimming pool that was so refreshing and enjoyable after hiking around in the high heat all day. This hotel allowed us to checkin to one of our two rooms very early at 8am (for a little bit pricey fee of $200) due to our early flight from USA, and then they readied out second room reservation well ahead of the check in time (for no extra fee.) It was worth the money for the 5 of us traveling together. Walk-in showers and toiletries provided were very nice. Location is good for quiet area and great water views and just a short walk to get to the shops and beaches. We did not need a car at all in Villemarche-sur-mer (very walkable in the area but a lot of steps/stairways and inclines, so wear comofrtable shoes and do some cardio training ahead of time!) The day we arrived there was a farmer's market happening at the plaza next door, which was fun, and a local bakery nearby provided delicious cappucccinos, croissants and pastries for breakfast every day. We were so happy to be in this quaint picturesque area, as opposed to the more urban and busy city of Nice nearby. We were close enough to enjoy Nice attractions, but had to use an Uber or bus to go anywhere away from the village.

Cons:

We traveled with 5 people and needed 5 beds. The hotel had some rooms with 3 beds, which was hard to find in this area, but the set-up for the 3-bed room was pretty tight and not the most comfortable. The full size bed was in the front room with access to the balcony, then a short rather narrow hall connected to the second room that was a little small for 2 twin beds. The shower and toilet were in the short hallway between the bedrooms, but the shower and toilet were in separate rooms with doors. There was only 1 sink in room with the shower, so if using the toilett in the separated room, you could not wash your hands without opening the toilet room door and going into the shower room next door. Not the best hygiene set-up or for multiple people using the same bathroom. Maybe take down the wall between the shower and toilet? Or at least put some hand sanitizer dispensers in the toilet room.

Pleasant stay at the edge of a beautiful Old Town.
Pros:

Beautiful view from the balcony, comfortable bed. Good breakfast and lovely view from breakfast room. Attractive building, lit up at night. My bedroom was very quiet peaceful. Villefranche itself is gorgeous- so colourful.

Cons:

It was quite a trek into Villefranche Old Town. We tended to walk down and get a taxi back. There aren’t many restaurants within a short distance of the hotel. The bedroom was a little cramped but had everything you would need.

Un hotel molt agradable per una estada en un poble encantador
Pros:

Hotel molt agradable amb una vista excepcional a la badia. Personal molt amable i servical. Esmorzar variat i abundant. S’aprecia moltissim que l’hotel tingui parquing ja que nobes hens facil aparcar en el poble.
