Nice stay
Pros:

Clean, comfortable, free breakfast and good location.

Cons:

The highway noise and thin walls. Had I not had ear plugs it would have been very difficult to get a good nights sleep.

Our place to stay for the horror convention at the fair grounds

Cons:

Only two things; power went out...which they have no control over, no power in room for sometime at night so pitch black in rooms..and one of the elevators stopped 2 inches off the floor and I tripped into the elevator. I let the front desk know, in case an elderly guest doesn't get hurt. Guess I was hoping for a comp room or something off the bill for doing so...but nada.

We made a reservation for a suite with 2 queen beds and a sleeper sofa.

We checked in and carried all of our luggage up to the room. The room ended up being a nonsuite room. It was a standard room.
I went down to the front desk to ask what happened to my reservation. At first they denied that I had paid for a suite. Then when I showed them my reservation confirmation they said they didnt understand why the mistake happened.
I spoke with the manager and they admitted that the room I had reserved was rented amd thst they didn't have another suite with 2 queen beds.

My complaint is that the front desk was dishonest and didnt inform me that the room was rented. They said nothing and tried to give me a nonsuite room even though I paid for a suite.

Very unprofessional. Did they think I wouldn't notice that the room wasnt a suite?
