El sopar de bufet lliure, molt malament
L'emplacement juste à côté du monastère avec vue dégagée.
J'ai pris un upgrate chambre double pour avoir la vue (la chambre single était du côté de la montagne sans vue)
Le diner buffet est excellent, je recommande (d'autant plus qu'il y a quasi pas d'autres options sur la place après 20h)
Le personnel a été accueillant.
Avantage d'avoir accès à la vierge de Montserrat avec le tampon de l'hôtel.
Le seul bémol c'est qu'il faisait très chaud et la climatisation ne marchait pas.
Meuble un peu à l'ancienne mais ca fait partie du décore.
This hotel in Monserrat is so well located, beautiful. Wonderful surroundings.
We had two rooms between four people. One room was at the front with spectacular views and a breeze to cool the air. The second room was half the size and at the back, with the window opening to the rock wall. It was hot and stuffy. No airco in either room as they were still installing it. A cleaner lent us a fan which helped, but surely this should have been provided in the first place.
Monserrat is for mass tourism so has various large canteen /buffet type places to eat. Not too bad. The hotel restaurant was not great.

Location
You have to park your car quite far from the property. They do let you drop off and collect your luggage but given the amount of parking spots nearby that could be utilised it feels like they are missing a trick.
Be warned - there’s no air con as at July 2026. It’s was 35 outside and difficult to sleep although they did get a fan for us when we desperately requested it.
Loved it! Only thing is, it was July and HOT. The room had no air conditioning wc made it quite warm. We opened the door and the window where there was nice, cool breeze - but only if you stood by the door or window. But we managed to sleep comfortably enough. It was steps to the basilica and museum, the views were fantastic, so all in all — 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Con 37 °C, una habitación de 80 € sin aire acondicionado ni ventilador, con la ventana pegada a la roca y sin ventilación, era un auténtico horno.
No informan del precio de la cena durante la reserva. Al llegar descubres que el único restaurante ofrece un bufé de 30 € por persona, sin bebidas, con una oferta muy limitada: unas siete opciones, la mayoría carne.
Creen que esto es Mónaco, pero es un monasterio.
Precios desorbitados y una relación calidad-precio vergonzosa. Parece que se aprovechan de los peregrinos y visitantes que vienen por la Virgen Negra y el monasterio. Poco tiene que ver con el espíritu de una peregrinación. Es una vergüenza.

The location and views were wonderful!
I think it was ok, but you need to know what you are in for. Parking was quite a way from the hotel (you cannot park near it). The room did not have a/c or even a fan, and no refrigerator. The dining options were extremely limited, with only a few "cafeteria or deli" style options that close early, or the buffet at the hotel (nothing at the buffet was labeled, so it was a guessing game as to what you were getting and, in my mind, a bit overpriced).

Le lieu est magnifique
Malheureusement en raison de la chaleur les promenades dans la montagne étaient interdites mais l'hôtel a été très compréhensif et j'ai pu annuler des nuitées
