Camera piccolissima, non presente frigo bar. Bagno con doccia e lavandino veramente piccolissimo.

Aircon was absolutely useless so room was stifling. I realise this wouldnt be an issue outside of such extreme weather.

Room was small but we didn't mind as it was only for 1 night.

Double room is very small

The room however was small for two people with no where to store your luggage and the bathroom did flood a little from the upstairs shower as it leaked through the ceiling. Perfect for one, perhaps not for two

We stayed in room 117. Unfortunately we had a rather loud couple enjoying their stay in room 118 and the walls were rather thin. This wasn't overly a problem first night as it was early, so we still managed to get a decent night sleep, but the 2nd and 3rd night, we were woken at gone midnight by them returning home late then engaging in some very loud amorous activity. So we didnt sleep well the whole trip really.

On our last day, our bags were stored in the storage which I am fully aware are left at our own risk. But since returning home we noticed that a pair of expensive ray bans glasses were missing from my partners bag, and he knows he left them in his bag as our last day was raining so he didn't need them. He hasn't seen them since then sadly.

I went with my daughter in a twin room. From the beginning, there were issues with her receiving spam messages on WhatsApp with personal information claiming to be Nox, asking for additional sensitive personal information. Thankfully, she called booking.com, who sorted her out. If you value your privacy, I would recommend not booking with the chain, as there is obviously someone there ready to take advantage of older patrons.

In terms of the rooms, our stay was similar to a lobster being boiled alive in a saucepan. We entered our room at around 10 pm during the recent heatwave, only to find the main AC was not working (a key issue that has been noted in reviews for at least two years that have been buried under similar-looking positive ones).There was instead a machine on the floor, which was turned off, which worked as well as a handheld fan. There was no point in that room where we were not sweating to the extent that our sun cream would not even sink into our skin. We assumed this was an issue in all the rooms; however, when we left three days later, after waking up most of the night in hot sweats in a room that had an internal temperature of 45 degrees, we saw the room (while being cleaned) opposite us had a fully working system. After raising this issue to the receptionist, she claimed that “some people just like it hot” so did not seem to see that such discrepancies in quality were an issue.

Similar to other reviews, I can concur that the rooms were tiny, unsuitable for multiple travellers and lacked appropriate hotel attributes like a safe or fridge. In addition, we were given the wrong suitcase when coming in to collect our things later in the day, after morning checkout. There was no apology from the lady nor concern that she may have given away someone’s valuables. If you have any concern for your quality of life, personal items, or sensitive data, do not stay at the Nox Hyde Park or any of their chains."

It was all great but the Shower was very bijou. Bit Noisy in morning
