This place is magical. A georgous place to stay in Munnar. One of the main draws for us was the bird watching, waking up to the loudest bird song we'd ever heard. On top of that the room and facilities were all excellent, the on site restaurant staff were exptremely friendly and food was delicious. We enjoyed morning yoga classes and especially the walk across the site with Nikil and dog Banjo. They also organised a walk/tour across the lakshmi tea estate with Arun who was brilliant, full of knowledge and brought us snacks and drinks. The reception also organised taxis when we sadly had to leave. Highly recommend for relaxing, wildlife and amazing views.
Awesome property and view
Nature, Comfort, & Proximity to the town
- The waiters serving food at the resort restaurant weren't aware that I had booked the room that included breakfast and dinner. I was restricted to order only certain dishes for dinner that doesn't exceed the price limit. This was neither informed to me while booking nor the staff at the restaurant.
- Breakfast menu was too limited - needs improvement.
- Not suitable for elders. Provision to be made in the form of lift as they can't climb the stairs
Alles okay, gerne wieder.
Amazing location and views from rooms. Great trail access and guide right from the resort. Close access to tea gardens. Nice pool. The restaurant was very good with many veg offerings. Complimentary breakfast well worth adding to room. Helpful in setting up area guides to hike the amazing hills. Munnar is about 6K away and a great walk to get to the town on unused roads. Sty off the main road...My wife had a great Ayurvedic massage.
I had my worst Ayurvedic massage from our whole trip. It was a rough go... I had many others in other parts of Kerala and they are unique, Wait and try another place for yours. This was all that we had issues with. Also remember you are in the hills of Munnar. Which means everywhere you walk is up or down, and they are serious ramps everywhere you go. Have good shoes with good grip with you. Excellent exercise. The other note is that there is a lot of mist in the morning but the sun cuts through most of it, Its really a beautiful part of the environment but may disappoint some who love sunny and clear days.
The location was beautiful.
It was a bit rundown.
Reception staff were very nice but not hugely effective.
Gorgeous location. Rustic, lovely decor. Excellent sparkling clean infinity pool! Kind staff. Great morning yoga class, guided hike and fun tea tasting included with our stay.
All Things
Beautiful location - close enough to places to hike/Munnar town/restaurants and cafes.
The hotel restaurant serves wonderful food - the best we have had in India.
Staff were super friendly and helpful.

Overall everything was super great. The view was spectacular. Food is amazing.
I was asking in advance about possibility of hiking to Anamudi and they confirmed that they will organize everything, then re-confirmed me that everything is settle. When I came nothing was arranged and at place I realized its forbidden to hike there. After negotiation we find the option for me to hike to Meesapulimala.
Also, you could order taxi only through them and they fake a price - make it super big, and told me that it's because driver should sleep on his way back, that appeared was not the truth. So, it's tough to trust. The rest what is related to hotel was super good.
Good place with nice views. Spa is good.
Restaurant was ok.
It is excellent for nature lovers
The bed room is too small-and the front room is unnecessarily large. The bathroom is too small. The color of the curtains need to be changed- they were depressing at room 502
Wonderful duning room with good service and good menu. Food was excellent. Breakfast also very acceptable. Swimming pool location and views were great away from very busy and rather overdeveloping town centre with noisy road widening.
Excellent services from front of house staff having to do their best to satisfy customers who are rightfully disappointed by the poor condition of the accommodation which really lets down the resort. See photos!!

The view from the resort was the absolute highlight. The space with the infinity pool was beautiful, as was the onsite restaurant which was great too. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. It was a treat to see monkeys from our balcony! We were greeted with an ayuverdic drink on arrival which was a lovely touch, and the team at reception helped us book a local guide for a tea plantation hike. We also enjoyed the free tasting session offered by the resort too.
There was construction taking place next to our villa the whole time we were there, from early morning until night time. It would have been appreciated if we were told this, as it wasn't the most relaxing. We went out for most of the time to avoid it, but if we had planned to stay at the villa it would have affected our time.
There were a couple of occasions where the communication could have been better - we were told one of the activities provided by the resort was at 430pm. When we showed up at this time it had been earlier so we missed it. On another occasion I'd called reception and they said they'd return my call, but they didn't. Same with WhatsApp, I made an enquiry but no response. However, these are small things as the overall experience was brilliant and we really enjoyed our stay.
