Property Description

Luxurious Poolside Experience

Guests can enjoy a drink or meal by the pool at Novotel Darwin Airport. Located only 250 metres from Darwin Airport, it offers free airport transfers and free cable TV.

Modern Rooms and Suites

Each of the spacious rooms and suites at Novotel Darwin Airport Hotel features air conditioning, flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. Tea/coffee making facilities, ironing facilities and a refrigerator are included.

Relaxing Amenities

Some accommodation also has cooking facilities, laundry facilities and a private balcony. The 25-metre lap pool is surrounded by native tropical gardens and sun loungers.

Novotel Darwin Airport Hotel is a 15-minute drive from Darwin city centre. Free car parking is included. Please be aware of the redevelopment outside the hotel. Construction work begins at 8am - 6pm daily, causing noise and disruptions. Hotel parking is now located beside the Novotel. We apologize for any inconvenience.

So relaxing and absolutely amazing staff that couldn't do enough to please and amazing pool.

Great spot for a stop over. Pool is fabulous as is the meals, waiting staff and atmosphere at the Pool House Restaurant.

Cons:

As always reception staff assume you have stayed before, so they forget to tell you important details. For example Welcome drinks are on offer if you are a member of Accor and check your app ! and they don't emphasize that there is one central reception area for the Novotel, Ibis and Mercure.
We stayed at the Novotel, and did not know the reception desk in that building is not manned. We waited patiently for assistance, and tried to get the attention of the Executive adjacent to the reception area. Luckily a very helpful hotel services member walking past us, told us to head back to central reception. In complete contrast,
the executive adjacent this reception area, rather rudely closed her door and did not offer any assistance. She may need some retraining in customer service.

Rooms are not up to scratch at all and need to be reflected in the pricing more.
Pros:

The pool and staff and location and parking ease

Cons:

Not much variety for food. Overpaid for steak that was chewy and full of fat and barely anything else other than a smear of pumpkin mash. Bathroom shower curtains had mould and water went all over bathroom floor. Water stain in ceiling. Couldn't use the TV (no chrome casting). Limited access to internet. No amenities in the bathroom for the price we paid.

There was a terrible odour in the room. I told housekeeping, and they sprayed the room, but it didn't really help at all.

Nice facilities to unwind but being ear plugs if you’re sound sensitive
Pros:

It was well presented with nice facilities around like a swimming pool and restaurant

Cons:

My sheets were stained on the underside, not sure if they were clean. The room was very noisy just from the sound of people walking to their room or elevator noise.
