Not our first visit and it will not be our last!
Pros:

Comfortable room, good evening meal and excellent breakfast

Cons:

Perhaps the lack of light to Nailbourne room and the silly attitude towards a query over a misdescribed pavlova

Short one night stay, would definitely go back.
Pros:

Rooms were comfortable and well decorated and equipped. Staff were excellent and couldnt have been more helpz.

Authentisches Hotel und Pub
Pros:

Auf unserem letzten Halt vor der Fähre nach Calais haben wir hier übernachtet. Schade, dass wir nicht länger bleiben konnten. Das Zimmer war klein aber sehr gemütlich, sauber und ausreichend. Das Essen hervorragend, die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich. Alles sehr authentisch und zum Wohlfühlen. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Very expensive room.
Pros:

Nice comfortable bed.

Cons:

No bath salts or bubble bath for the bath that was a huge feature of the room. The lighting in the room was also poor - either all lights on or off! The bathroom area floor was freezing. There was a heated floor but this did not work. The room had a huge number of cushions that had no where to be put. We felt the room was designed by someone who had never spent the night in it. The double sinks in the room were a strange design feature. The room was extremely expensive for what it is compared to other Kent pub rooms of a similar level.

Really Great Pub with Rooms pre ferry crossing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Pros:

Lovely staff with a great food menu. Delicious food both dinner & breakfast 😋
Really spacious room with Huge bath if you want to have a soak.
Comfy bed and bed linen. Nice touches like bottled water, coffee machine and chocolate brownies in the room add to the customer experience 😍

Cons:

Some minor touch ups required to decour- but being fussy to get a 10.

Exceptional restaurant and b&b in a beautiful spot
Pros:

It was a beautifully decorated village pub with fantastic food, comfy beds and an all-round lovely feel from start to finish. Couldn’t fault a single aspect of it. The staff were great, the room was beautiful, the food was excellent and it was really very good value for money. One night was not enough!
