Had a good stay
Pros:

Super service, when our train was delayed the staff was really helpful in making sure we would have diner anyway despite the kitchen being closed. Really well done.

Friendly welcome, dog friendly, food acceptable but not outstanding, nice walks behind pub, bit noisy at night on road.
Pros:

Friendly staff, especially the young man when we arrived. Comfortable bed, easy access to channel tunnel.

Cons:

We were in a dog friendly room (Granby) which we appreciated. But the ‘bathroom’ was split: loo at the back of the room, bath up steps next to coffee machine, wash basins in the middle of the room next to bed. Very inconvenient.

Gemütlich und gut gelegen
Pros:

Typisches englisches Pub-Hotel mit originellen Zimmern, Einrichtung rustikal. Nähe Folkestone, Eurotunnel. Gratis Parkplätze vorhanden. Gemütlicher Pub mit guter Küche.

Cons:

Sehr ringhörig, da Zimmer über dem Pub gelegen.

Last minute booking was worth every penny. Lovely staff that were helpful and chatty. Amazing food and good value beer.
