Great stay for excellent walks and amazing food
Nice comfortable bed.
No bath salts or bubble bath for the bath that was a huge feature of the room. The lighting in the room was also poor - either all lights on or off! The bathroom area floor was freezing. There was a heated floor but this did not work. The room had a huge number of cushions that had no where to be put. We felt the room was designed by someone who had never spent the night in it. The double sinks in the room were a strange design feature. The room was extremely expensive for what it is compared to other Kent pub rooms of a similar level.
It was a beautifully decorated village pub with fantastic food, comfy beds and an all-round lovely feel from start to finish. Couldn’t fault a single aspect of it. The staff were great, the room was beautiful, the food was excellent and it was really very good value for money. One night was not enough!

Really spacious room with Huge bath if you want to have a soak.
Comfy bed and bed linen. Nice touches like bottled water, coffee machine and chocolate brownies in the room add to the customer experience 😍
Some minor touch ups required to decour- but being fussy to get a 10.
So peaceful that it (almost) hurts to leave! :-)

Beautiful location.
Room was noisy so we couldn't get to sleep until 11pm as there was lots of floorboard creaking, bags from downstairs (presumably kitchen/ bar), loud generator outside window, could hear guests in room next to us chatting / playing music.

The welcome was really nice. I was always greeted by name as I went for breakfast or my evening meal. Also as a solo traveller it was nice that I wasn't put in the corner at the back for my meals.
The food was excellent.
The layout of the chairs meant that I had to move them every time I needed to open a wardrobe.
The bath looked lovely but access to the toiletries was awkward.
Breakfast was excellent nicely presented hot taste was very good evening dinner was also excellent complement to the chef nice cosy room comfy bed staff excellent
Configuration of the room lighting all lights turn on in bathroom when getting up during the night as the room is open plan the whole room lights up also needs more plug sockets at a level to access one socket is under and inside the bedside cabinet the other behind the TV too high to reach
