I rarely give negative feedback but felt like we’d stayed at faulty towers.
Pros:

The breakfast and breakfast room were nice.

Cons:

Our room was very cold, dated and in dire need of tlc. There was mildew in the bathroom, the shower didn’t work, no plug in the sink, plastic water strip hanging off the shower screen, no heating in the evening, ironing board ward falling apart.

Pros:

Alex was a great host from start to finish. I really liked how breakfast was organised. Guests were asked in advance whether they wanted a cooked option, which helped reduce unnecessary food waste.

Cons:

The TV is fairly basic. A smart TV option would be a great addition, as it would allow guests to connect to their streaming services.

Lovely hotel great location and nice freshly cooked breakfast.
Pros:

This was our third time to stay in this hotel when visiting relatives. Beautiful country house style hotel- clean and great location- only a 5 minute walk to the train station and about 10 minute walk to the middle of the town. We got a large double room on this occasion with lots of space. The bed was very comfortable and there was a little seating area with a nice couch. The room was very warm. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly.

Cons:

It took us a while to figure out the shower. It was an old electric shower however the controls seemed to work the opposite way around for on/off so took some time to get it to work and get the hot water and also the pressure wasn't great to wash my hair.

Fabulous stay
Pros:

Great location and staff couldn't do enough for you very accommodating fantastic value for money breakfast was amazing will definitely visit again

Cons:

Nothing lovely place only problem I had was finding it could do with a sign outside it's a busy road to stop n look or perhaps my eye sight is poor 😭

Ok for one night, could be so much better

The best
Pros:

They were more than helpful ,they even made a bacon and sausage sandwich for my partner who was in hospital and the hospital only give him one slice of bread and butter disgusting for a hospital even though he asked for toast !! .
