Lots of charm and character. Easy walk into centre of town. Excellent breakfast.
Lots of stairs. Room decor a little tired in places.
Very clean, comfortable bed, great breakfast.
Seemed to be short staffed..
Bathrooms need an upgrade.
They were more than helpful ,they even made a bacon and sausage sandwich for my partner who was in hospital and the hospital only give him one slice of bread and butter disgusting for a hospital even though he asked for toast !! .

Easy location close to town
Excellent breakfast
Friendly team
Very comfy bed and large room
Slightly outdated / in need of some work
The location, the cleanliness and the great breakfast.
It is a tired building in need of, I’d imagine a substantial amount of money spent on it. The bed was comfy but the pillows need replacing. The shower was functional but not great.
It was very easy check in and staff asked what breakfest i was going have in the morning so took my order told when breakfest was served then showed me they where my room was gave me the keys and then let me alone to settle in

The gentleman and breakfast friendly, easy parking.
The property is very run down and not that clean. In my room wall paper was falling off, water stains running down walls, old battered furniture, worn faded bedding and sheets, hard mattress. Worse of all the bathroom had lots of mould and rust and was not that clean. Lots of little hairs in the bath.
All essentials covered: bed comfortable, clean, quiet, helpful, and pleasant. Breakfast perfect, lots of choice, and served in beautiful surroundings. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Breakfasts were good. But disappointed that evening meals are no longer served, this meant as a a disabled person it required a taxi to and from any restaurant which added unexpected costs.
The mattresses was very firm, like sleeping on a board. The steep staircase.
