Location- spotlessly clean and the view from the room. Also v quiet.
Not enough staff on the bar at peak times eg pre and post dinner.
Great location, great staff, pool is amazing. However lack of AC is a big minus here. Room was very hot despite fully opened windows. Quite difficult to sleep.
It. Was. Good. Size. Room. But freeze was making. Fun nosie follow. Night
Nose freezer
Light take care. Out light go off
The lady behind the bar was so lovely and friendly, the pool area was great
the room was very basic and the shower not great
Stunning view, breathtakingly beautiful
Pool area clean and perfect for a break.
No smart TV, batteries ran out on the remote and it was late..couldnt tamper with them as the back of the remote is secured with a small screw. No wifi in rooms unless paying extra but we would expect at £230.00 for a night wifi would be included.
Location
Small narrow elevators, old furniture
Great location, friendly staff, good atmosphere.
The room was extremely hot!!! Stayed when the temperature was very high, even though we had a balcony and kept curtains closed from the sun, it was like an oven. Had to ask for a fan but didn’t help much.
Also, the Sun beds around the pool all had towels on, but no occupancy!
Gute Lage zentral, schön grosses Meersichtzimmer
Das Hotel ist schon ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen. Das Frühstück ist lieblos und nicht zu empfehlen
Balcony access was good as was the room size and view.
Even though there is a lift if you are on the opposite side of the building there are lots of stairs.
You have to walk up hills to get to hotel from the town.
Good location
It’s pricier than the other couple of hotels in the same area yet neither the facilities nor services were more advanced. With this price, I would expect making my name right, alongside packed biscuits (other than loose ones in a tin with uncertain best before date and request to refill by yourself at the reception if wanting more) and proper shampoos and shower gels (instead of three-in-one), as they were provided in the neighbor hotel which was also cheaper. The sink was also a bit blocked.
Breakfast excellent as always. Location brilliant for public transport . Most members of staff very helpful and polite.Hotel spotless and well maintained.
Food options for evening very expensive for the quality of what was served. Very limited selection of bar food and no fresh vegetables or healthier options in evidence. I’ve visited regularly in past years and was disappointed on this occasion. I repeat - breakfast had a brilliant selection of fresh, healthy food + a few not so healthy holiday treats. All hot and well presented.
WiFi wouldn’t work and the girls on reception weren’t able to help, just said nobody else had mentioned it. All the hotel information is digital, so wasn’t available to me. I was unable to look up maps or transport to plan my activities during my stay or to access the information/ messages etc stored on my device. It left me feeling a bit out of touch and vulnerable.
All this was made worse by an unfortunate incident at the front entrance early on my first morning.(Rosie will know what I’m referring to ) I may visit again in the future but not for a while
