Pros:

Just spent a night. Breakfast timing / menu could be better. Otherwise decent hotel. Had a comfortable stay.

nice try, but...
Pros:

Sofitel Hotels are supposed to be 4-5 star hotels. However, this one, with a slightly ripped off name of "Softel" was a 2 star. A short list of the issues with this hotel: very inconsistent Internet and an unwillingness of hotel staff to restart routers, a gym that requires booking in advance (?), extra charges for numerous water bottles appearing at the bill at checkout requiring careful checking by guests, toxic levels of insecticide spraying in the reception area daily to manage mosquito problem with no forewarning to guests trying to access the only area of the hotel where the internet works. I don't know if there is a better hotel in Dehra Dun, so this may still be the best option there.

Pros:

Stayed at hotel for business trip one night , check in check out smooth, selected hotel since very close to factory we were visiting , hotel is slightly older in the std rooms , all fittings and fixtures look older , service is very good , food good , staff prompt and helpful , no activity outside hotel since away from city centre . Good std 3 star hotel , clean , neat and efficient . May need some refurbishment to improve upkeep in future

good hotel for transit
Pros:

Room was ok. Need to work on cleaner towels, they were greyish, guess needed bleaching. Airconditioning was partially broken. Very close to airport. Warm pleasing staff.

Absolutely great!
Pros:

We arrived at the hotel after a very tiring trip. The hotel staff and facilities made us feel at home. The experience at this hotel drained all our tiredness away. It was a wonderful stay. I'd like to congratulate the staff for their service quality. Keep it up!
