Warm, cosy, elegant, centrally located and very comfortable.
I loved everything about it!!
Old and full of character, location as I love the pantiles
The welcome was warm and friendly and checking in was easy. The atmosphere in the bar was nice and the food offering good.
We didn't realise we would be up 6 flights of stairs with no lift so thankfully our lesser mobile sister didn't come with us in the end! Our room was noisy with old sash windows and there was peeling wallpaper and damp around the windows and up near the ceiling. Didn't feel as high end as the price tag. Everything in the room just felt a bit neglected.
The location and hotel were perfect.
The staff were so lovely, very professional, helpful and friendly.
The food was also very good
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay
We loved it all!
Relaxing bar area. Friendly staff. Good location. Cosy Christmas decor.
No lift so a bit tricky for people with mobility issues if room is on a higher floor.
Unbeatable location in the heart of a beautiful town.
Superb staff.
Simple rooms which are clean.
Windows which open if it gets too hot.
Lots of character to the hotel. The dinner was great! Very well cooked duck! Very well priced for calibre of hotel and i was given a free breakfast from a lovely irish waiter who made me feel very welcome!
The hotel was well situated.
Our hotel room. No 10 had a double bed which was pushed against the wall as the room was too narrow. This made it difficult to get in and out of bed.
Clean room with excellent facilities. Water crisis in town managed well either bottled water made available. Excellent location with easy parking nearby.
Room a little small - to be expected for single room
Location, and facilities great.
room was above expectations.
Only exception was the tog value of the duvet because in the summer it should not be 9 tog, but 4, or better still a flat sheet.
Great location and very friendly staff!
Room wasn’t clean enough. Inside the room was very hot, no AC and ventilation was bad even with the window opened. Wifi rarely worked and got disconnected very frequently.
