Very comfy beds, great water pressure in the shower and excellent location. Staff were helpful, and it was overall clean and pleasant.
Decor is a little outdated.
Sea view. Convenient location for the Pier, buses and bars/restaurants.
There were no shelves in the bathroom. There were no drawers in the bedroom. Breakfast at £12 was a bit mean, in that you could only choose one option, e.g. either croissants and jam or a cooked breakfast.. Personally, I like a small cooked breakfast (scarmbled eggs and bacon) and a croissant. Or cereal, followed by a small cooked breakfast. In addition, I didn't see any fresh fruit.
The staff were friendly and accommodated to my needs.
Bed was a little bit uncomfortable
The location of course is excellent. Overlooking the beach and round the corner from a lovely pub. The room was very comfortable with sea views on the first floor. The beds were really comfy, got a great nights sleep.
The breakfast was a bit expensive for what I ate. I think it would be better to have reasonable individual prices for each item on the menu for light eaters, however the selection was really good.

Good location next to the beach
3 big windows and no AC meant the heat comes in in the mornings, even with the curtains shut. Maybe they need curtains that will do a better job at keeping the room cool, or a window that opens all the way rather than a tiny bit at the bottom.
Also the shower shield isn’t big enough and a few other things if I’m being picky but overall the room is fine, clean etc. I’m sure it would be nice if there wasn’t a heatwave but because it’s the sea view room with big windows it gets really hot, and we didn’t look much out the window because we kept the curtains shut.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and so was the bathroom. Shampoo and soap were provided. The hotel’s location is great — it is right in front of the seafront and the pier. You can walk around and enjoy beautiful views and charming streets. Shops and restaurants are also nearby.
The water pressure in the shower was quite weak.
