When children under 16 are using the pool, there must be adults in attendance, swimming at the same time - not just supervising. The pool is available for junior guests from 8:00 to 18:00 daily with last entry at 17:30 and 8:00 to 11:00 on the day of departure.
Children are not allowed to use the sauna, steam room or gym.
Opening times are as follows:
Monday and Friday: 07.00 to 22.00 with last entry at 21.30 (sauna and steam room open between 08.00 and 19.00).
Saturday and Sunday: 08.00 to 20.00 with last entry at 19.30 (sauna and steam room open between 08.00 and 19.00).
All bank holidays: 08.00 to 20.00 with last entry at 19.30
Dinner, Bed & Breakfast rate:
Adult allowance is now GBP 32.50 per night
Children under 12 allowance is now GBP 16.25 per night
Parking is available for GBP 10 per night.
Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.
A deposit may be required at the property.

The bar and leisure areas were really nice and the building quirky. Jude in reception was a delight, the only member of the team in reception who was, she took the time to engage with everyone and was very helpful and professional, the others we seemed to be inconveniencing.
Bar food was nice as were the drinks.
The bathroom clean was not good at all, especially the shower.

Bathroom too small.
Breakfast not great and rammed in so close to other people. Tea and coffee poured from jugs and not offered more than one cup.
Evening meal was nice: however steak over cooked first time. However was very well priced and rectified rest was very good.
Very good swimming pool and sauna. Big spacious rooms. Clean bed sheets and towels.
No socket next to bed but thankfully Staff provided extension lead on request.

The family room we got was nowhere near as big as the photos look, at the back above the kitchen.
Very noisy fans, bottles being thrown into a wheelie bin before 6am!
The Swimming pool
Unhelpful staff, stuffy hot rooms, food was bland and uninteresting. Booking made through booking .com was inaccurate and both booking.com and staff were unhelpful at sorting it out - really couldn't care less. Shame because it was meant to be a Special couple of days.
Staff were friendly and very responsive. We greatly appreciated that they changed our room after the first one did not meet our expectations
The rooms and overall feel of the hotel is old
Our first room was next to a generator and it was very noisy. There was no AC so we had to open the window and put up with the noise.
The spa was not as nice as the pictures and quite crowded.
Overall feel like we were "oversold" and the hotel was quite expensive for what it was
Lovely and welcoming
It would be better to have one room suitable for a family of 5 so we didn’t need splitting up. 2 adults and 3 children
Pool and other facilities were fine.
The shower was a bit poor - the control was extremely stiff to operate.
I think that if I'm paying £250 for a room then I shouldn't have to pay an additional £20 to park my car.

No air con
We absolutely loved it, a warm welcome from the lady's on front desk and all other staff were excellent, what made our stay the best was John we loved him, it was Mrs's Birthday and I brought the leftover half of cake with us and I should have brought candles for round 2 anyway John came out singing with a big candle in 1 hand and cake in other lol it was brilliant looked like a priest lol his hospitality all round was exceptional, a proper people person and because of him we will no doubt stay again, the hotel, the town, and the locals were all great oh and the castle in the town was Amazing! Half day job, best castle iv'e been to ❤️
