The noise from the room next door spoilt what would otherwise have been a pleasant stay.
Pros:

The room itself was large and comfortable. The location is very central and there was a good choice at breakfast. The courtyard is lovely.

Cons:

The walls are very thin. I could clearly hear the TV in the next room and I could even hear the occupant snoring. To say that parking is available is a little misleading. It’s not free and, if you use your car during the day, it’s cheaper to use a nearby public car park.

Pros:

Very pleasant helpful staff. Excellent location within easy reach of the station, Cathedral, rivers and shops. Lovely old building with lots of interesting features. Very comfortable rooom with plenty of space, good shower as well as bath and spotessly clean. And two easy chairs! So often double rooms have just one leaving one person to perch on the bed or on an upright one.

Cons:

Some traffic noise but there again we were in one of the cheaper rooms on the road side. Otherwise no complaints. Would definitely return.
