Ok but a bit expensive given the tired state of the hotel.
Pros:

Staff were very friendly and professional. The hotel is base Dina. very central location which make it very good for local bars pubs and restaurants. Food (breakfast) was very nice. Bed was comfy and well equipped (with the exception of no wifi)

Cons:

Didn't leave us any toilet roll for the last day. The hotel is looking very tired regarding the state of the decor and repair. Avoid the rooms above the parking at the weekends as the nightclub across the road kicks out at 3:00 am and is very noisy.

Great location, humdrum hotel I won’t rush back to.

Great location, my primary motivation to stop there. Characterful building.

Cons:

You asked so I’ll be honest. Needs sprucing up, with some decorating. Bedroom was too cold for me whilst sitting. At breakfast time, I said a cheerful good morning to the two guys in reception.. received a muted response without a smile. I was hacked off with that. The dining room waiter wasn’t much better, no warm greeting, just nipping in and out of the kitchen. No positive interaction. The breakfast food was reasonable, but a full English was served on a stone cold plate, lovely, or maybe not ! I’m recently back from a couple of weeks in the Canaries, the hotel staff were in a different league.
