We upgraded and then the staff upgraded us further to a suite, thankyou! . ( Our previous night had been in a hotel near a church bell, which rang all night, on the hour every hour, so we were tired, maybe the reception took pity on us), we were in Room 12. Lots of space and seating!!
Brilliant bed.
Brilliant location.
Fan provided to help with heat
.
Very interesting building.
We liked everything to be honest.
If we could make one small negative...the shower in the bath, no problem, but there could do to be a couple of support handles to help access/egress.
But really it was excellent.
Room didn't appear to be vacuumed very thoroughly
The courtyard and the hotel cat!
No fridge, this was a premium room, approx £560 for three nights, had to try and keep water cold by filling the bathroom sink with water and popping bottles in there. Hard bed and pillows. Small living area, which ok but wool fabric chairs and cushions which in July are uncomfortably hot to sit in. Bathroom ok size but shower small, my 6ft 2 in husband had to bend to fit under it. Only choice of two cold meats but decent choice of cereals and cooked breakfast, however both the cold meats and pastries were not covered and there was a fly buzzing around! Hotel clean but needs an overhaul as a bit shabby in parts.
Lovely old building right in the middle of town. Staff all lovely. Room. Nice with modern bathroom.
No aircon which was much missed in the current heatwave.
Limited parking on site but nearby public car park with preferential rate. Decor a bit tired.
The courtyard was very pretty
Needs some tlc in corridors and rooms
Lovely staff. Nice location. Rooms comfortable
Not much parking
Location was good
Parkng was a problem but this is not the hotels repsonsibilty
Optimale Lage für Stadtbesichtigung
Zu wenig Ablagemöglichkeiten und Haken im Bad
Lovely hotel in a great location.
Friendly staff.
Full if character, perfect location. The roomy was roomy and the bed very comfortable. Lovely spacious bathroom, the washing products were nice.
Staff very helpful. The linen was of a good quality.
Tap dripping in the bath, also very few bags of tea and coffee and not many biscuits, could have been a tad more generous.
Noisy with the window open, as it was hot we had no choice.
Fan provided, big tick!
Breakfast was good, bed was large and fans were supplied in the room, although no aircon
Location was excellent, the room spacious, the bed very comfortable and the staff very friendly.
Breakfast needs improvement: trays with food are not refilled round 9.30; choice of food is quite poor; there are no recipients on the tables where you can put the trash.
Very central to town
