Best Mercure we have stayed in and we’ve stayed in a lot over the years at home and abroad.
Pros:

Fabulous hotel ! Staff very helpful and friendly. Great Breakfast - had everything you could wish for ! Beautiful sun terrace. Honestly - could not find any fault whatsoever - would definitely stay there again when we next go back which we will as we have family nearby.

Some of the best hotel food I've had in England.
Pros:

Excellent food. The breakfast had a huge choice and was very generous, and the restaurant was surprisingly good as well – I particularly enjoyed the pork belly and sirloin steak. Liz from housekeeping was always helpful and thoughtful. I also liked the design of the hotel, especially the Oxford tailoring and shoemaking touches throughout the building.

Cons:

The Wi-Fi was slower than I expected.

A perfect 2 days pit stop on way to Wales.
Pros:

All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Location a little out the city but a 5 min walk to bus stop and buses every 10 mins. Very clean and comfortable rooms.

Gorgeous hotel! Couldn’t fault a thing!
Pros:

What a gorgeous hotel! Set in lovely grounds with lots of wildlife. We booked the family room which was huge! Everywhere was spotless and the staff just couldn’t do enough for us. The decor of the whole hotel is stunning. The bed was huge and our son had the sofa bed which was just as comfortable as the big bed! We also had dinner in the restaurant and breakfast and just couldn’t fault anything. This sounds so snobby but we are used to staying in five star hotels so I wasn’t sure what to expect but this was perfect, would definitely stay again!
