Breakfast was fabulous. Great variety. Local produce.
Staff were lovely, very helpful especially at breakfast.
The ambience was pleasant and table/ seating good.
I paid a huge price for an ordinary Sauv blanc with dinner.
Room was nice and clean.
Dinner was disappointing. My partner was not asked how he wanted his steak and the seafood quality (mussels) in the tagliatelle was poor. The request for no rocket in the salad just provided plain lettuce.
The room didn't seem to be well organised. I couldn't get alongside the bed near the window, but there was plenty of space the other side.

Jeg kunne have ønsket mig mulighed for at vælge en anden hovedpude, den var alt for høj til sove med.
Sengen var en anelse smal men passede selvfølgelig til værelsets størrelse.
Vi blev indkvarteret i tilbygning ovenfor hovedbygningen. Et dejligt sted men vær OBS på forholdene hvis gangbesværet.

We knew that Oxford was difficult for parking and selected this hotel with the knowledge we would need to take a bus into town. Bus was as expected, quite frequent. The cost of a all-day-pass was GBP5 - they don't sell a return ticket.
Staff appear disinterested. Nothing bad, but not welcoming. Functional.
The parking was staggered up a hill. If you have luggage, it not so convenient, but we drop our luggage at the reception door and then parked - walked back to room.
Our room was on ground floor. It was very warm - UK heat wave - but we felt uncomfortable leaving the window open due on security concerns (we could hear people walking past the window).
The outdoor facilities
Room was full of insects, dead and alive around the windows and the room had a very heavy musty smell.
We were given a different room the second night.
The location, most of the facilities and most staff were great.
1 particular staff member (male) serving during breakfast time was asked for cutlery as table only had 1 set he brought it out of the kitchen then stood by the manager who’s come into the breakfast area (super loud) talking to a customer. It took him a while before he came to give me the cutlery by then I’d used my mother’s. Pure neglect and thoughtlessness. For the price paid these things should not happen. Toilets not cleaned thoroughly. This needs to be much better.

Чудовий готель, знаходиться в дуже затишному і спокійному місці. Навколо багато дерев і пташок - тут відпочиваєш душею. Персонал готелю був дуже ввічливим і посміхненим. Нам сподобалося
Єдиний мінус - павуки в номері - їх безліч і вони не прибираються. Треба звернути на це увагу.
