Un moment de paix
Pros:

Superbe endroit, niché dans la nature. La vue du coucher de soleil depuis la piscine est juste sublime. Et cerise sur le gâteau, une famille de singes hurleurs avaient décidé de passer un bon moment avec nous🤩. Le restaurant est excellent également.

Staff was very nice and location was close to town and beach with a jungle feel.

Cons:

There's a lot of potential for this place. The environment must be difficult to maintain structures but a good cleaning and fresh coat of paint around the property would go a long way. Simple maintenance items need to be addressed (screen doors not sliding, sliding doors not locking, cleaning of drains in showers and sinks, putting varish on wood...daily maintenance). If this were done this place would shine and be a great support to tge hardie working staff.

Beautiful room in the nature
Pros:

Room is really large with a beautiful balcony surrounded with nature.
Shower is outside with still protection from the elements.
Included breakfast was really good and complete.

Das Hotel mit den Bungalows ist mitten in Wald gelegen, das Personal ist enorm freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Küche bereitet wunderbare Menüs zu, auf Wunsch erfährt man vom Tourguide viele interessante Details

Wunderbare Zeit im Luna Azul
Pros:

Wunderschöne Anlage mit Pool und Bungalows. Es kommt fast einbisschen Afrikafeeling hoch. Tiere wie Nasenbären, Riiesenkröten, Füchse und Papageien schauen vorbei. Wir bekamen ein Zimmerupgerade und hatten eine wunderschöne Therasse mit Ausblick aufs Meer und Jungel. Das Restaurant war auch super.

Cons:

Die Ameisen die wir im Zimmer hatten. Ansonsten gibts nichts zu beanstanden.

Excellent location, great breakfast, friendly staff!

The location and the nature around the property are superb!

Cons:

All was great, apart from an issue with the a/c which was not solved. It actually poured water from inside while it was working, so we had to sleep without it during a kinda hot night. We were told to close the windows, they were already closed but this didn’t fix the problem. Hopefully it would be solved later as we indicated it to the person in charge the next day,

Eine schön gelegene Anlage mit einem warmen Wohlfühldesign, reichhaltigem Frühstück und sehr gutem Abendessen. Danke an Sebastian, der uns viele Tipps gegeben und den Aufenthalt bereichert hat.

Idyllische und ruhige Lage, im Übrigen weit entfernt von "außergewöhnlich"

Das Hotel liegt etwas abseits der Schotterstraßen, liegt aber ansonsten idyllisch in der Natur und verfügt über einen Meerblick vom Pool. Insgesamt eine sehr ruhige Lage. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, außedem war das Personal des Restaurants ausgesprochen nett.

Cons:

Als wir gegen 17:50 Uhr ankamen, wirkte die Hotelanlage vollständig verlassen und einsam. Der Parkplatz war leer und andere Gäste sahen wir auch nicht. Einzig ein Sicherheitsmitarbeiter, der kein Englisch sprach, zeigte uns unseren Bungalow. Das Restaurant hatte an diesem Abend geschlossen, worüber wir vorab nicht informiert wurden. Der Bungalow war voller Ameisen: An den Wänden, auf dem Tisch, auf dem Bett. Dies merkten wir am nächsten Tag bei der Rezeption an. Diese reagierte voller Unverständnis und sagte, dass dies normal sei. Wir haben allerdings in den zwei Wochen zuvor in Costa Rica nicht einmal derartige Erfahrungen gemacht, selbst in offenen Lodges nicht. Zudem stellt sich die Frage, warum keine Moskitonetze über dem Bett sind, wenn krabbelnde Ameisen auf dem Bett "normal" sind. Der Bungalow war im Übrigen ziemlich dunkel. Der Blick von der Terasse ging in einen morschen Baum, außerdem war die Terasse vollständig verschattet. Aufgrund der vorgefundenen Situation und anderer Gründe wollten wir frühzeitig abreisen, hier kam uns das Hotel selbst mit unserem angeboten Minimalkompromiss (Erstattung der Frühstückskosten) nicht entgegen. Als kundenorientiert kann das Hotel daher nicht bezeichnet werden. Freundlich war das Personal an der Rezeption ebenfalls nicht. Insgesamt handelt es sich um ein Hotel mit einer einigermaßen netten Anlage, nettem Personal am Restaurant und einer ruhigen Lage. Der Service, die Sauberkeit, die Kommunikation und die Inneneinrichtung sind jedoch stark verbesserungswürdig. Das Hotel ist jedenfalls weit davon entfernt "außergewöhnlich" zu sein, wie die Booking-Bewertungen nahelegen.
