The hotel decor was nice.
That the staff wasn't really friendly or helpful in some cases and I was charged twice for my hotel. It is also quite far from the airport.
Beautifully presented
Outside appearance was old
I always like to stay at the Hilton terminal 5 when I travel to Heathrow. The hotel is surrounded by trees and even though the planes take off over head the hotel you don't hear them when in the hotel so it feels very peaceful. The staff are always warm and friendly, so it has become a home from home for me.
For the first time I had supper in the restuarant and it was very yummy and again the staff were friendly very smiley and supportive as I have a preference not to eat gluten or dairy and the staff were great in chosing something that I could eat and it was excellent best meal I have eaten in a hotel for a long time.
There wasn't anything I didn't like
Lovely room and comfortable
Difficulty in getting from T5 to hotel
The front desk was very kind and accommodating on my early arrival and housekeeping was quick to get the room clean and it was perfect. The best part was the restaurant. The food was superb and my server, Nicole, was professional, friendly, and gave excellent menu selections. I will be coming back!

Not Worth Holding A Gold Card Anymore…

Not Worth Holding A Gold Card Anymore. In the past , as a Gold Card member you were upgraded. Despite booking a King Room & 15 days parking we were required to pay £50 extra for an executive room . The take-away breakfast for our early flight was a half an hour late and the yogurt was past it’s sell- by date! I will not be using my Hilton Barclaycard in the future as we no longer receive the benefits. The cutlery in the exec lounge was not clean ; and the staff were overseeing the lounge like the Hotel Police. I saw the younger trainee speak to his manager & say that one individual had poured a “top up already” and his manager replied, “Just smile at them!” How patronising! I am partially deaf, so i can lip-read! No-one was behaving badly or drinking excessively that we could see, so I don’t feel that the exec lounge staff should be so judgemental, as people are paying for this benefit.
Will not be visiting/ parking in this hotel again.
Rooms was very well furbished and equipped. Whole hotel and rooms were very clean. Good facilities and lovely breakfast
Hard flooring rather than carpet in the bedrooms meant you could hear people walking very loudly above. Check in took 30mins and bar prices are very high
