My stay at the Hampton Inn Downtown Waterfront was thoroughly enjoyable. The staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming, the hotel is in a great location right by the harbor, and the room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. It made for a very pleasant and relaxing visit.

Great location, good stay!
Pros:

Convenient to everything in old port area. Comfortable bed. (Very) hot shower. Free breakfast/coffee.

Cons:

For the price I except to have the toilet and shower work properly.
Pros:

The location is perfect distance to downtown. So many restaurants and stores within walking distance. Staff was friendly.

Cons:

The toilet clogged within in our first few minutes of being in the room. Had to call for maintenance. Then the shower clogged after each use had to call for maintenance multiple times after each shower.

Pros:

Friendly, clean, great location

Cons:

Portland parking is expensive and the hotel's on-site parking offers no break in that cost for its guests. The indoor pool was open and newly updated but the water was quite cold and very milky (needing heat and filtration)
