a great place to stay in the flat section of town
Pros:

room was large- hard to charge items when you take key and leave all electric went out- staff helped with this situation. Front desk staff Marissa and Bruno are very nice and helpful. Nice water and wine free-- pastries were really stale :(. Welcome drink nice as well as discount at bar. gppd ;location as well as helpful staff and clean big rooms make this placw nice

Cons:

rooms need a bit more lighting. Didn't like that power killed when you left room as you couldnt charge items.

Browns was a great choice for us and we really enjoyed our 3 night stay in Lisbon.
Pros:

Browns is located in a great area in the old town. One block off the main walking street to the sea. This main walking street has dozens of restaurants with outdoor seating so you can sit and enjoy watch all the people and it leads down a few blocks to a small piazza at the water.

Cons:

The only hitch about breakfast is it is in the sister property down the street so you do have to walk to get breakfast but it is worth the walk. It is buffet style but a good selection and very fresh and the staff does a great job of replacing any items that are running low. We took a cab from the airport and it is recommended that you ask them the rate when you get in as it should take no more than 25- 30 euros to get there but once they have you in the taxi they will try to get more. There is no meter in these cabs and is about a 15 - 20 minute ride.

Pros:

The room was comfortable. The airconditioning kept the temperature controlled. The stay was quiet despite being in a busy part of town.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the shower was very small. It was difficult to manuver in and easy to knock items off shelf and on to your feet. Ouch! Also - no laundry service. When we asked the person at the desk downstairs, they did not appear to have any suggestions for how to do laundry. As more people are packing less trying to not check bags - this is potentially a downfall. The upside is that we did find a laundry about a 10 minute walk away.
