Our front desk clerk, Bella, was great!

The staff are top tier. Very helpful group of employees. The bar was open til 2am which was a good time after the game. And order the fries, they are AMAZING!

It was very clean. The food is good.

Changed our room from two queens to a king without notifying me prior to our arrival, said there was a sleep sofa. Who wants to sleep on a sleep sofa!

The indoor pool was not open and the guy who checked us in was no help, much too talkative to an unhappy client and generally unaware and elementary. We’ll never stay here again.

Hello stayed there 4 days for my son’s graduation at VT the place is very conveniently located to visit Virginia tech shopping and other things miss Bela at front desk was very helpful she nicely decorated the place for graduation awesome service will visit again

Really happy with the service, friendly and helpful. They made VT graduation fun, with free cake and breakfast. Seriously better service was provided than at a recent stay at the Ritz Carlton hotel in Turks and Caicos.

This was the most disappointing reservation I ever made in my life. For what I paid, it was not worth it. The hotel's condition if not what you see in the pictures. To start, all the furniture, including the chairs, were dirty with stains. First, we were in a room in which the toilet was broken and clogged. I have to plunge for 20 minutes,
The manager tried to fix the situation by switching us to a suite, which in reality was a downgrade. What was supposed to be their best room was in a very poor condition: spider webs all over, broken shower doors without handles and coming out of the rail, poor lighting in both rooms, the type of lights were no good to read or get ready. I had to clean the coffee maker because, for some reason, the water chamber was dirty. Breakfast is not included, which is OK, but what they served was not great. The restaurant was not clean. They gave us rolled silverware and when we opened it was all stained and sticky. At the time of the checkout, the manager apologized for all the inconveniences and explained the hotel would soon go into a huge renovation. If that is the case, why are they still offering rooms? I didn’t take enough pictures to show all the issues.
Location was great.

Only issues- Elevator and pool were out of service, but staff was great, location perfect, and room was very clean.

The hotel was overpriced due to Parents Weekend. One elevator did not work. Made for long wait times.
For the price paid (3 times the amount of a no - Parent Weekend)… the breakfast should be free!

The room was in good condition, but the toilet kept running and needed maintenance. The cafe area for breakfast wasn’t in excellent condition and the breakfast buffet left a lot to be desired. Finally, we specifically booked this hotel for pool access but it was not open.

Mira Patel was very helpful at the registration desk. When we called prior to checking in about our dog. The person from Holiday Inn said it was $75 total. When it was really $75 per day. That was VERY HIGH.

Pool was out of order; elevator was out of order and exercise room was terrible with only 2 dumbells.

This hotel is a little dated and worn. Our room had some mysterious stains on walls/door. Even though the staff were friendly, somehow we were charged FOUR times for our stay! This hasn't been resolved yet, but will be calling the GM on Monday.
