Hotel Mandovi

After a small delay at check in (the hotel was unable to find my booking at first) I was soon taken to my room.
All the staff were very friendly and helped me when I needed it. The breakfast staff were especially friendly.
The room was ok - it was pretty much i what I expected for an oldish hotel in India.
The location is very close to the river and the centre is all within walking distances.

So the hotel is definitely living off its past glory and location. But on the flip side, being next to the coast means there is a chance constant drone of the noise made by the casino ships at the harbor. It has the decor reminiscent of an old era but unfortunately it hasn’t been maintained so the rooms are average with gaudy interiors and some plumbing issues. They make up for this by providing good staff however. The staff is cordial and cooperative!

Had booked this stay for a friend. When he reached the hotel and showed the confirmation from hotels.com the guy at the front desk said that there was no booking received, this is absolutely ridiculous. he made them make a fresh booking with the hotel directly.

Really cool vintage building and vibe. Priced very well, good value for the money. That said, the facilities overall are a bit tired...

The Rooms were a bit old and hate a lot of mould. The beds could change a bit. The service and breakfast was great. Will definitely visit again if I get a similar deal.

The hotel is tired and rooms need upgradation.

Great decor and architecture. Right across the road from river with restaurant on the river. Staff very helpful and good breakfast. Easy walk to Panjim sights, restaurants and shops.

The lock of the roomost was too hard to open. Breakfast was excellent.

The front desk staff should be a little more professional up to the international standards.
Rest all other aspects were good.
The restaurant staff was great and took good care .

Great location, walking distance to everything of relevance in town. Way better hotel than one expects when viewing the facade.

It was good and enjoyable. I think hotel location is the best if you are interested to visit Casinos, you only need to cross the road to enter to Casinos. receptionists are so friendly and kind. Overall it was a good experience staying with Mandovi hotel.

The hotel quality has deteriorated over the last few years. Definitely over priced. Poor infrastructure. The staff wasn't too friendly ( as you would expect from a hotel of this standard).
Hotel Location is excellent though!

Rooms were much smaller than expected. there was water leakage from the roof. You can get much better rooms at this price.

I had a good experience at the Mandovi. This is the second time in a row I have stayed there. I do business in Goa and it is conveniently located in Panjim. The staff is friendly, there is 24 hour free Wi-Fi and it is close to downtown

Hotel was Ok to stay. Big room and super location at heart of panjim. cost is little bit expensive. Food is not good but there are plenty of good restaurants near by. There is no proper window, so you might not have fresh air. Air con is ok. Good thing is it is very close by all the major casino in Goa. If you are traveling to Goa for gambling its probably the best hotel.

The Hotel is old, but the location is fantastic.No view rooms are not recommended, river view rooms are good.Service is average and the complimentary breakfast is not good.overall the rooms doesn't match the cost they charge
