Great location, kind staff, loved the bicycles
The service from reception staff! Fantastic restaurant recommendations. Friendly and helpful.
There isn’t a cafe or restaurant onsite. Just a breakfast room. But near by just a few min walking, there are several public cafes which was good.
Such a great welcome from reception with tea provided while we waited for the room. Free smartphone in the room which can be taken into the city to aid with navigation via Google maps and free local calls.
No milk in the room.
Everything about our stay at Hotel Cubo was absolutely exceptional. First and foremost, the staff are the crown jewel of this property. From the incredibly warm greeting at check-in to our final departure, the hospitality we experienced was easily the best we have ever encountered in Europe. The concierges and reception team are genuinely friendly, deeply knowledgeable, and constantly go out of their way to make you feel special.
The location is equally unmatched. Situated right on Slovenska Cesta next to Kongresni Square, you are quite literally steps away from everything you want to see in Ljubljana. It is less than a 5-minute walk to the riverbanks, the Triple Bridge, and the vibrant, cobbled streets of the Old Town. You get the absolute best of both worlds: immediate access to the city’s top restaurants, cafes, and historic sites, while enjoying a peaceful, beautifully soundproofed retreat at night.
Our room was immaculate, incredibly and spacious. Little luxuries like the complimentary daily restocked minibar, high water pressure rain showers, and a delicious, freshly made breakfast served like a fine-dining experience completely elevated our stay.
If you are visiting Ljubljana, do not hesitate to book this hotel.

We stayed at Hotel Cubo for two nights as the first part of our holiday in Slovenia, and it was an excellent choice.
From the moment we arrived, we received a really warm welcome from the team. Every member of staff we met was friendly, engaging and genuinely helpful, offering advice and recommendations that helped us make the most of our stay.
Our room was modern, spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with a lovely bathroom. The complimentary minibar was a thoughtful touch and much appreciated after arriving from the airport.
Breakfast was another highlight. Rather than a standard buffet, there was an excellent à la carte menu with plenty of choice, all freshly prepared and of a very high standard.
The hotel’s location is ideal. Ljubljana is a relatively small city, so everything is within easy walking distance. We particularly enjoyed wandering along the river in the evenings, and would definitely recommend taking the funicular up to Ljubljana Castle for the fantastic views across the city.
If you’re planning a visit to Ljubljana, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hotel Cubo. It combines modern, comfortable accommodation with genuinely outstanding service, and we’d happily stay here again.
If I could give this hotel more than 5 stars I would. Everything was perfect .
Travelling as family of 5 with 3 teenagers. Arrived late in the evening due to delayed flight. Reception desk very welcoming, and helpful. Excellent first impression which is so important.
Had 3 rooms- 2 doubles and 1 single. All a decent size and spotless. The bed was probably the most comfortable hotel bed i have slept in. The 'pillow menu' was great too, as I am super fussy about them being too hard or soft. Found exactly the right one. The duvet was very light on your body, all leading to a great night's sleep. Air conditioning worked well, which is so important, especially when it it was so hot outside (high 30°'s).
Breakfast was included in our room rate. A la carte breakfast, but the great thing was you could order multiple items off the menu. All freshly prepared. Between us we tried most of the menu. I'd recommend all of it, but my favourite was the slovenian breakfast. The front of house team were very welcoming, attentive and helpful. Again, so important to leave that good impression.
The hotel is in a great location too, minimal walking distance to the historic town centre.
Quite simply perfect. Would highly recommend and would definitely revisit if back in the beautiful Ljubljana.

From the moment we arrived (with a glass of champagne waiting for us) we knew we had found a gem of a hotel. Our room was spacious, gorgeous and best bed ever. The staff were incredible - Usha (forgive spelling) led a team of the nicest people - nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfasts were delicious, our free
Mini-bar was refilled each day, and we took their fabulous bikes for a ride around this gorgeous city. We could not recommend this hotel highly enough.
This is a terrific hotel. The location is excellent and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is exceptional, ordered from a menu,and served to the table.
We would like to have had a Nespresso style coffee pot in our room. Many of the hotels we frequent have this feature and we’ve come to enjoy it.
