Beautiful room, beautiful location, staff couldn't have been more nice if they tried. The staff were very helpful. Everything was extremely clean and immaculately presented. The breakfast was also superb with many options available. The rooms also have air conditioning which is very needed in the hot weather.
Can't really fault alot! The complimentary tea/coffee options in the rooms were a little sparse but otherwise, I can't find fault with anything.
The food and room were both excellent. Clean, modern and comfortable.
Some of the male staff looked a little unkempt for this standard of hotel.
Restaurant , staff and rooms were excellent
Wish the was a spa
The breakfast was truly excellent both with regard to quality & choice. The full Derbyshire cooked breakfast was delicious & set one up for the whole day .
Location was really good with regard to the beautiful grounds & surrounding scenery- also well placed for visiting the Peak District!
There was nothing that we didn’t like but maybe our view is influenced by the fact that we had a premier room wit a balcony affording us with excellent views of the grounds & surrounding countryside.
Sehr ruhige Lage ganz außerhalb von Chesterfield.
Nichts.
This hotel is a little gem, a great find. We will certainly be using this hotel again. Ideally located for a visit to the Peak District
One night her whilst up in Derbyshire on business
I usually stay closer to the motorway but dynamic pricing was exorbitant at short notice
Chose this place via TA / booking.com
Nice setting
Large well appointed room
Very clean
Good bed
AC good, if a little noisy
Management need to sort valve in toilet cistern - running continually, must be costing a bomb (109)
Awful desk chair, makes you’re legs dead in about 10 mins :)
Be warned almost no cellular signal (EE at any rate)
WiFi ok but not great for calls I found - quite nice to switch off though
Ate at the restaurant for dinner - reviewed separately - sufficed to say good but pricey I thought
HUGE breakfast (included)
Didn’t finish
I’d more than happily return (and will)
Lovely place to stay. The staff are very friendly and professional and courteous without being cloying.
My room was beautiful with a Juliette balcony overlooking a bridge reminiscent of Monet's garden.
The sommelier was really helpful even with wines at the cheaper end of the scale. As it goes I'm trying out a recommendation of his at home regarding white wines that are dry yet not acidic, make a change from viognier.
I would highly recommend a visit.
Nothing.
Very luxurious
Restaurant service was very relaxed timing… we had a toddler, and time was of the essence as it was a late evening setting for dinner.
The perfect wedding venue where the staff are so lovely. We managed to also get the perfect sunset for our day. Thank you to the team at peak edge we will be back to remember our beautiful day.
Stayed overnight. Room was beautiful, view was amazing. So relaxing. Very quiet around room. Air conditioning was brilliant. Would stay again without a doubt.
Beautiful location, lovely room. Great breakfast and very friendly staff
Beautiful hotel, stunning grounds, good quality rooms, breakfast was delicious.
We couldn't shower or wash or make a tea or coffee the next day due to a problem with the water. This did leave a bit of a dampening on our morning but we still loved our stay and would recommend the hotel to others.
Great location great Bedrooms Breakfast was a real high light spot on. Excellent Kipper. Very clean hotel staff very friendly. Nothing to fault.
Lovely and helpful staff who made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The service throughout our stay was superb, with everyone being friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and maintained to a very high standard, making our stay even more enjoyable. The attention to detail and cleanliness were excellent. The overall atmosphere was warm and relaxing, and we truly appreciated the effort made by the team to ensure everything was perfect. We had a wonderful experience and would not hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the area.
