Very luxurious
Restaurant service was very relaxed timing… we had a toddler, and time was of the essence as it was a late evening setting for dinner.
Beautiful location, lovely room. Great breakfast and very friendly staff
Beautiful hotel, stunning grounds, good quality rooms, breakfast was delicious.
We couldn't shower or wash or make a tea or coffee the next day due to a problem with the water. This did leave a bit of a dampening on our morning but we still loved our stay and would recommend the hotel to others.
Great location great Bedrooms Breakfast was a real high light spot on. Excellent Kipper. Very clean hotel staff very friendly. Nothing to fault.
Lovely and helpful staff who made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The service throughout our stay was superb, with everyone being friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and maintained to a very high standard, making our stay even more enjoyable. The attention to detail and cleanliness were excellent. The overall atmosphere was warm and relaxing, and we truly appreciated the effort made by the team to ensure everything was perfect. We had a wonderful experience and would not hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the area.
Excellent place and the food was amazing. Staff were very professional and smart. Not cheap but well worth it for a nice treat.
We were there for a wedding and stayed for a couple of days after. The wedding and function room were well organised and it was a very happy occasion. The breakfasts were great with good variety and food cooked to order.
Service in the restaurant on the night of our arrival was slow with several items unavailable.
Well organised, warm welcome, comfortable spacious room, well trained and helpful staff.
Attended a wedding everything very nice pizza very nice
Price of alcohol hahaha
It's rustic design and attention to detail and beautiful theme throughout the hotel, all staff were amazing and so accommodating, it was a pleasure to be there
There was genuinely nothing to fault.
Thankyou for having us
Absolutely gorgeous place. The service is simply immaculate, all stuff members are not just doing good their job but go beyond- they treat a place like their home and guests as their valued guests. The quality, size of the rooms, location, food at the restaurant all just superb
This is my 6th time at this place, and I’ve stayed in many hotels in the area and trust me -this one in the ONE.
They recently renovated the barn and I have had a pleasure to stay in it. If you are a family or just friends- this is a place to be.
The design is absolutely beautiful stylish, elegant and thoughtfully done without feeling over-designed. Everything has been considered, right down to the details that truly matter. As a wine lover, I was particularly delighted to discover proper wine glasses. A surprisingly rare luxury these days!
The barn itself is incredibly comfortable. Two gorgeous bedrooms with their own en-suite bathrooms, plus an additional family bathroom with a bath for the children's rooms (there are two more rooms one single and another one twin) make it perfect for both families and groups of friends.
The living room deserves a special mention. The fireplace creates exactly the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to cancel your plans, pour a glass of wine and stay in for the evening.
Outside, there is a lovely garden where you can enjoy both sunrise and sunset while admiring the beautiful Derbyshire countryside just sitting on the terrace, soaking in the outdoor jacuzzi or admiring it from the floor so ceiling windows.
It is one of those places that immediately makes you slow down and appreciate the moment.
I am lying awake with time on my hands. I cannot sleep because the noise from the wedding which is happening literally at the end of the corridor is keeping me awake… for the second night in a row. Perhaps I should take a bath to relax. Nope, I can’t do that because the plug in the bath doesn’t work. I have reported the plug and the noise to reception who are evidently powerless to help. This is a large hotel and there’s a whole other wing which is much further away from the wedding. When I asked if my 3 year old and us could be moved to that side of the hotel I was told the rooms were all full…with wedding guests. I am gravely disappointed with a hotel that we booked for our anniversary weekend away.
My daughters and I were visiting England for the first time, traveling to four different locations. Of all the hotels we stayed, Peak Edge was our favorite. The rooms were spacious, very comfortable, and the food at the Red Lion was superb. Our luggage was delayed and the front desk was so helpful in bringing us toothbrushes, robes, phone chargers, etc. to get us through while we waited for our luggage to catch up with us. I highly recommend this hotel.
We stopped over at the peak edge hotel after we had attended a wedding there.
The room was absolutely stunning , the bed was so comfortable. The rooms were spotless and they are really good sizes , everything been through out really well.
I wish I had the time to have enjoyed the bath there but the rest of the bathroom was sparkling.
The wedding was an absolutely brilliant day the food was Devine. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.
I will definitely be coming back for food as this was my first experience at this hotel and I have not one bad word to say about it.
Stayed at the Peak Edge following our wedding day. The Ashover Suite is absolutely beautiful. A very special stay! The team were all helpful.
There were also great gluten free options on the menu at breakfast! Wish we could've stayed for longer!
It was quite the veiw was lovely it was beautiful the breakfast
I thought it was expensive yes nice hotel but expensive didnt like the fact that you had to pay for a coke at breakfast as most kids dont like orange juice or apple juice so expensive £4 bacon was cold on the sandwich ..should be different drinks for children on menu
