Pros:

I loved the warm welcome we received when we arrived at the front Desk from Marion, also paddy at the bar very chatty and good fun, and the Door man as well lovely friendly staff, the rooms were beautiful comfortable and clean, and breakfast fab also, we would highly recommend this hotel to our friends and family and very affordable for families also, thanks to all the staff for making our stay a very memorable one thank you 😊

Poor Lunch experience
Pros:

Very disappointing and poor service. Called in for tea/coffee and light bites. Refused service until 5pm (3hour) difference. Never been to a hotel with no food service. Staff very rude.

Pros:

Bar was very dated
Food was cold and when I requested something extra, they didnt come back. Not enough staff.

Cons:

Bar was old and no atmosphere. Breakfast wasn’t nice, cold. Didn’t go for it on day 2.

Thurles trip.
Pros:

Had a great two night stay. We were celebrating a big birthday and also 50 years since we first met...in Thurles.
Rooms were good quality while restaurant and bar were bright and airy. Food was excellent and staff were very obliging and helpful.
We spent a very enjoyable day visiting Holycross and climbing The Devil's Bit.

Family member 90th Birthday party.
Pros:

We had a family member who celebrated her 90th Birthday at the Anner Hotel on Saturday evening. The event was managed brilliantly by the Team at the Anner and I would like to especially thank the restaurant staff for the exceptional care and service they showed to us all. Food was also fantastic. I would highly recommend the Anner for anyone looking to hold a similar event.

Cons:

Booked the hotel for leisure facilities, paid more for this hotel than other hotels in the area because of the pool and leisure facilities. We were informed that pool etc was closed for scheduled maintenance even though we contacted the hotel on Thursday and this was not mentioned!!
Paid over the odds for the hotel then !!

Amazing Service
Pros:

We had a fabulous day celebrating our daughters communion at the Anner hotel. From start to finish everything was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious, very generous portions and prompt service. Menus were personalised which was a lovely touch. All the staff were friendly and so professional. A special mention to Thomas who was a delight to deal with, very helpful and attentive making sure everything ran smoothly for us.

Pros:

Beautiful hotel, nice relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff.

Cons:

Shower in the bath is a bit tricky to use as you get older and I actually slipped and fell. Luckily not seriously hurt.
