Location was good. Entertainment was very good - best we’ve ever had in Blackpool. Reception staff were lovely and very helpful. Great parking facilities. Thank you!
Very very tired and worn fittings. Bathroom really small despite having a bath. Food was less than ok. Small tv in room, no change of towels or room service on a Saturday so if you’re only there the weekend you’ll have to ask for clean towels. Cheap sausages at breakfast time, no fresh fruit available, limited healthy options. Staff were ok, except a young man who was polite and switched on. Others were slow to clear plates. Toasters either didn’t cook the toast enough or burnt it!! Tables squashed together and far too close to others.
Good job we didn’t mind being so squashed! We read the reviews - we visit Blackpool a lot and this is the most tired property we’ve stayed in. Such a shame as location and entertainment are fab!
Breakfast was fine. Good choice room was clean but shabby. Needs updating. Tv to small. Bathroom outdated but clean staff very friendly and helpful Entertainment was fantastic
Corridor In Hotel carpet very shabby and water leaks in ceiling
Fab hotel, fantastic entertainment, great location, good food well worth the stay 🤗.
Wasnt anything not to like.
Our first time at the Viking Hotel we loved everything from the day we booked in till the day we left
Nothing
Good location
Nothing
The food was excellent, the choice of food was extremely well laid out, and very appetising.
At dinner, IF, you didn't fancy anything on the menu, then there was an alternative buffet choice.
Th location was a bit far from the centre of town, although having stayed there twice in the past two years, I knew what to expect.
I was booked in for Breakfast .
It was spot on no complaints .
There was plenty of chose and tasted lovely
Everything was spot on .
No complaints about breakfast.
Room backed onto the back which did not have a great view but to be honest only there to sleep.
Entertainment was brilliant, breakfast was brilliant.
The coffee was not nice.
You just can't beat The Viking, fantastic staff, top entertainment, gorgeous food, I will always go back there ❤️
Nothing
Everything
We had an excellent stay. The room was clean if a little small. The food and entertainment was fabulous.
The lifts were quite small.
Food , stuff, location
Friendly staff, will do anything for you and good food.
Excellent location with tram stop across the road. Right next to South pier.
A lot of stairs up and down, twists and turns to get to our room. Was like a maze.
The evening entertainment was ok, nothing special.
Seemed like this hotel caterers for the older retired generation as we are in our 40s and felt out of place at times.
Rooms could do with updating.
Our check in was quick given room 244 perfect nice room double bed clean and tidy.
Restaurants was good food was amazing thank you chef.
Entertainment well what can I say but fantastic buddy Lee our compare was amazing very funny and entertaining
Everything was good
The food was fantastic, all the waiting on staff and receptionist where really friendly and Terry Cotter was sooo funny without being to crude
The rooms where hard to find and even harder to find out way back down to reception, (maybe signs saying, “this way to reception” might help lol 😂 going through the dark entertainment room to get to the lift was a little scary too and the noise from the entertainment room was very loud in our bedroom above up until 1.00 am
loved our stay great staff good location great breakfast entertainment excellent
had double sea view room maybe didnt need the extra single bed in room
Clean and comfortable rooms
