Very happy with the overall value we received from this hotel.
Pros:

The front desk staff were a bit more reserved, but were very helpful. This was biggest room out of the 3 hotels we stayed on this trip. Very happy with upkeep of the room; they tidy up the bed and replace the towels everyday, on 3rd day the room gets a full cleaning. There was a water filling station on our floor with both hot and cold water. There is also laundry room with 2 washer and 2 dryer machines. Plus points for location: close to train stations, walking distance to Nishiki Market, Gion and Maruyama park, lots of nearby restaurants.

Cons:

The bathroom finishes could need a bit of an update, but we were fine with it.

Exceptional comfort in the middle of everything
Pros:

The room was clean and cosy, beds super comfy and soft! The location is very central so good for seeing all the sights. Has a laundry, the bathroom is lovely and the staff couldn’t be more helpful!

Good location and comfortable stay
Pros:

Great location and good breakfast, also very helpful to have access to an on-site laundry. The lobby was a good place to meet our travelling companions and head out for the day.

Cons:

Really would have like to be able to unpack suitcases and put clothes away in drawers but no drawer space was provided.
