I’m hard to please but I found this hotel faultless.. from the minute we walked in it was special. Great helpful friendly staff. Spotlessly clean. Attention to detail and pool areas amazing I could even swim in the pool as it wasn’t ice cold. Rooms were beautiful.. an absolute pleasure to stay in.. will be back ..
Friendly staff and nice rooms
From start to finish Bohemia Suites was amazing! Nothing too much trouble and the restaurant and staff absolutely make this hotel. The spa treatments were fantastic. Although a small hotel (what we wanted) we never had to look for a sun bed or felt over crowded. We dont normally go back to a hotel but this one we definitely will. We have a wonderful time. I would highly recommend!
Even better second time round. I returned 2 months after my first visit in May 2025 but it was too soon to write another review! This really felt like the second week of my holiday.
This time bed and breakfast as the food at dinner was so good but i wanted to est a little less. Room, all the touches and the amazing staff were all just as good. Felt instantly relaxed.
This time i booked the spa. What a fantastic experience with great value for money. The privacy and calm was total luxury!
Im going back again in 2 weeks and i cannot wait to relax, enjoy the views and indulge in some of the best food and spend some time at the spa!
It was an overall amazing stay, very clean, great location, food was lovely, staff very friendly.
Our room had a very small toilet room with mini sink. Difficult to access. The closet / shelves had doors on both sides as it serves as a room divider. There is a safe I the closet. No room for luggage storage.
A single chair for the desk & watch TV. If there are 2 people wanting to watch TV, the 2nd person has to sit on the bed, then turn sideways to see the TV. Awkward!
There are 2 chairs & a small table on the Veranda, both plugged in to electric sockets. A switch inside, near the door turns on lights under each chair. Unknown why someone would want lighted chairs. If not lit, there's a pretty good view if the night sky. There is a small drying rack on the porch - to discourage people from hanging things to dry on the balcony railing.
Breakfast is NOT INCLUDED for Marriott Elite members, though hotel has a discounted rate for Marriott members. (Staff says this is a Design Hotel, not a Marriott, so they are free to set their own rules & pricing.
We received 2 discount coupons for 30 minute massage, which we both enjoyed. Spa services can't be charged to one's room, so patrons need to pay with cash or credit card.
Nice swimming pools (I think they are salt water pools.) Being an adults only property, atmosphere is quiet & calm. Pool bar serves good cocktails & food (though anything but beer is pricey.) Club sandwich comes with fries & sharing it worked out well.

Pour trouver un petit point d amélioration, le français n est pas tres répandu et parlé mais ce n est pas propre à l hotel. Cela n empêche pas le personnel d avoir fait tous les efforts nécessaires pour essayer de nous comprendre. Merci à eux.
Absolutely superb. This hotel is an oasis of calm, amazing ambience, relaxation and 5 star food, drink and service. The staff could not be more helpful and accommodating and were so responsive and helpful whenever we messaged them.
The spa team were awesome and we had three treatments (each) in our 7 day stay - it really was THAT good. The spa area was superb - clean, well organised and a perfect way to spend a private hour or two of pampering!
We loved the place and the people - we will definitely go here if we return to Maspolomas!

Najem avtomobila - pripeljali so ga v hotel in ga sami tudi odpeljali, brez vseh komplikacij. Hotel sodeluje s super podjetjem za najem avtomobilov. Super prevoz do letališca, ki ga organizira hotel. I've always wanted to stay at the hotel, and had the opportunity to come for 3 nights when my usual Gran Canaria hotel is closed for refurbishment. I have to say overall I was disappointed given the price I paid (250Euro a night). It is allegedly a 5* hotel but I don't think so, probably 3.5* in terms of room quality at the very best. The outside is well kept and the reception lady was lovely and kind, as were all of the staff. The reception area is of a high standard and luxurious, but I'm afraid that was really where it ended. My room a "Deluxe Studio" Room 116, was quite a disappointment and quite tired - brown, gloomy with orange curtains. Reminded me of the 1970s. It was more 3* rather than in a boutique hotel upstairs. There were many problems with the room. It is the type of place where something might have been a good idea when it was new but a few years after the refurbishment of the hotel, it is tired and needing maintenance. There were a lot of maintenance issues that were clearly not attended to. The coffee table legs had chunks taken out of them, the drawers in the kitchen wouldn't close - despite me trying for ages to close them they kept on popping open, the coffee machine leaked the water contents all over the counter so I never really had a good coffee whilst I was there, the cleaner didn't top up the coffee either, the bathroom had a shower over a bath - which was difficult to get into due to the thickness of the bath and it often soaked the floor and I nearly fell as the bath was slippery, there was no microwave but an oven, there were too many switches in the room so it took forever to work out which light operated what area. On the first day the cleaning lady scolded me for being out when she wanted to clean the room (even though my red light was on). Despite these problems, it was a pleasant stay, and there was lots of water delivered daily to the room and the towels and facilities cleaned and changed. It is spotlessly clean. You would expect from a hotel of this nature to receive a courtesy call to ask if the room is acceptable on arrival, but the only call I received was to try and sell me a taxi transfer to the airport. On departure from the hotel I was given some "Bohemia Suites chocolates" which I thought was a nice touch, only to find out when I got home they were the 1 Euro 'Tirma' wafers you can by in a supermarket. More style than substance. I won't be back to this hotel, but at least I tried it. I was considering booking a week here before I tried it out, but have now booked alterative accommodation - it is not worth the money you have to pay. Disappointed.
Had a lodge which had an issue with lighting controls (all computerised and centrally controlled), All lights including the bathroom mirror came on several times on the first 2 nights on a timer at 1.30am, 2.00am and 2.20am both nights which ruined sleep. Had to go to reception in the end who looked at our blankly and said there must be a ghost in the room. They had to come to the room and experience it for themselves before taking us seriously. After the 2nd night of disturbed sleep we had to move rooms.
We were offered help to move, but no-one came, cleaner let us in and so had to move ourselves. Eventually we had the key card bought up to us. Felt exhausted by this point when should be a relaxing holiday.
Big issue, glass door to bathroom (not frosted) opposite bed. Aside from privacy issue, also meant couldn’t have light on if using the toilet at night, as light would have disturbed partner in bed.
Both rooms were very tired, smell of damp, catches hanging off the balcony door. When pointed out the missing screw to maintenance (who didn’t speak English) they didn’t replace the screw and tightened up the remaining screw which failed again the following day. Shelf in shower hanging off the wall in both rooms. How is this being missed by housekeeping?
Built in furniture tied with draws not closing properly. Oven didn’t work. Lack of instructions for air con, hot tub or oven etc These should be in all rooms as standard.
The hot tub was nice, although it kept draining itself and had to keep topping the water up which was quite tedious.
On the last day we used the spa changing rooms to have a shower before the flight. No doors on showers, so lack of privacy. Also water drainage inadequate and ment a slippery floor. In the toilet there were electrics hanging off the wall (very dangerous). Just not what you expect from a 5 start hotel and spa. Why are staff not spotting these issues. Attention to detail needed if calming to be 5 star! Maintenance in this hotel is appalling.
This is meant to be a 5 star hotel, yet only has a pool bar or bar on the roof. The pool bar closed at 6pm even those staff were still there and wouldn't serve drinks and directed us to the roof bar. We wanted a drink while waiting for our taxi, but would have to drag all our suitcases up to the roof for a drink while we waited. There should be a bar in the lobby or the pool bar should stay open if 5 star. It seems they are only bothered about their rooftop restaurant and bar and the rest of the hotel is being neglected.
After all our issues in the first 2 days, we thought the hotel manager might have reached out to us to apologise and see if there was anything they could do, but we heard from no-one. On check out we were presented with a bag containing a small chocolate bar for the journey. Half hearted gesture.
We were very disappointed with this hotel as expected luxury from a 5 star hotel. We paid extra for a private hot tub and what we thought was a bit of luxury. The pictures used of the rooms give a false impression to reality and the maintenance in this hotel is seriously lacking.
The only plus was the Molten Brown on tap in the bathroom. That was the only luxury thing. We wouldn’t stay here again. We will stick with our usual 4 star hotel as better value for money and experience.
The hotel is different in a positive way creating a unique experience for your stay. Nice restaurant view, music band roof top, exceptional welcome!
