Richmond Plaza Hotel

The hotel is pretty old, which means some things are breaking down or lower in quality. But the staff tries really hard to make up for it with excellent service, frequent cleaning, good prices, and lots of friendliness. Wifi is spotty, not necessarily going to get a good connection. Shower was a bit weak in my room.

The staff were excellent and room cleaned every day,the hotel is a little dated and showing signs and the air con in my room was very noisy,but the location was handy for my trip,also was value for money so I would definitely stay again next time in Cebu.

My check in was problematic although I presented my Passport and receipt for my 2 weeks. The room I was checked in was Not cleaned and there was a bad smell coming in from the bathroom into the whole room. The air conditioner was too small for a large room like that and was always hot in the afternoons.
Only,after Expedia took my complaint to the Hotel Manager thaty room was cleaned and the staff tried to give me better service!
Overall I think I received 2 star and Not 3 star hotel service that I paid for?

It took 3 day to fix fix the cable plus the ads that you give free potable water bottle water but you do not and reception area that had air shut off because it’s so hot they said is no customers it’s all the big lie

The hotel has no facilities what so ever. You cannot even buy water. Our room has no windows! Just a very dim light so it was impossible even to read in the room. The decor was dark, the bedding was even dark brown. There was no hot water. Thankfully we had only booked one night. We will never stay there again. I must say that the staff were polite, friendly and helpful.

I stay there for four days it took 3 days to fix the tv cable in the room and the app said you get free water but no they said the manager says no more free water and they’re also so damn cheap. They turn the AC off in the lobby not that I was staying in our lobby, but it took forever to check in and it is hot as hell

We choose Richmond because it was closer to the hospital for my mom's doc appt. But it was very poor. No foot rag after shower your foot is wet and there's no rag to dry our feet. No cups or drinking glass to use to brush our teeth. We won't be back again.

There was cockroach wondering on the floor. The matress of the bed is dirty, a lot of stain as well as the extra bed matress. I paid 5500pesos a night it was not worth it.

The room was very hot. It has an air conditioner but it's too small for a room this size. Also they installed it very low to the ground so the cold air blows straight to your feet.

The staff was friendly. The location was good. The Wi-Fi was very fast.

I would be willing to stay here again but I don't think that it will probably happen.
