A great place to stay when in Delhi
Pros:

Beautiful old building in busy part of town. Seems a bit chaotic and under some renovation but the staff were kind and helpful, the breakfast was good, the room was lovely and the bed very comfortable.

Cons:

Very noisy at times
The photos here are obviously improved with Ai although it is not necessary as it is a lovely old building and the real photos would show the charm of the place rather than the non existent glitz from Ai.

Séjour agréable, personnel accueillant.
Pros:

Le personnel était très sympathique et la chambre propre. Un grand merci à Umer, qui nous a proposé un pack avec chauffeur privé et activités incluses, ce qui a grandement facilité notre séjour. Et surtout, un immense merci à Sunil, notre chauffeur, qui a été parfait du début à la fin , toujours ponctuel, agréable et attentionné. Nous avons vraiment apprécié son accompagnement tout au long du voyage !

Cons:

Nous avons été un peu déçus par l’état général de l’établissement, notamment par la fontaine qui était vide et les quelques fissures visibles sur les façades. C’était pourtant l’un des éléments qui nous avait donné envie de choisir cet hôtel, nous nous attendions donc à un cadre plus soigné. Par ailleurs, le petit-déjeuner manquait de diversité.

Pros:

The hotel is a well pre-loved place in the Paharganj. Quite worn around the edges but added to it's charm.
The staff at the desk were very friendly and organised us a packaged breakfast for an early start. The porters were very attentive and helpful.

Cons:

It wasn't very clean, the shower door doesn't shut so it was hard not to flood the bathroom.
The hotelier tried to overcharge for drivers by about 3 times- definitely recommend using Uber, where the fares are good and the cars are in good condition and the drivers are very good- that said Nitin, the hotel driver was himself lovely.

The place is like a palace filled with art and the rooms feel luxurious with a mix of hand-painted ceilings and tile mosaics, Renaissance art and quality linens on the beds. The breakfast room features antique Bollywood posters and the the front foyer is a comfortable seating area that is lively and friendly.

Cons:

I love it and will stay there every time!

On a fait appel à des artisans de grand talent pour les peintures, mobilier et luminaires d’exception.

Would recommend to land in Delhi , stay for three nights

Zeer prettig vertrekpunt , vriendelijke staf en ge-end op Wester toerisme.

Cons:

We boekten via de in-house tourist information vervoer tot aan Rishikesh, op aanraden met de trein (toffe ervaring!) echter ging de trein niet tot Rishikesh en moesten we nog voor een uur zelf vervoer regelen. Allemaal niet erg, als je dit van te voren weet. Voor de rest is Umer erg hulpvol vriendelijk en doortastend geweest! Wel aan de prijs voor Aziatische begrippen (wij vonden dit het wel waard)
