Veeldig slitent hotell, opprinnelig hvite gardiner hang som gule motbydelige greier foran vinduet..
Hotel is a cheaper part of more advanced la Meridien hotel. For 3 star is ok.
The worst hotel I saw in my life
Nice beach view, near to the mall for shopping.
I asked for non smoking room, the room stunk of smoke, the electricity kept going off 3 times the 1st evening, and had to get ready in the dark the 2nd night, the room had no information of hotel facilities, won't be going back anytime soon!
Residence is actually part of Le Meridien. So you have access to amazing beach, outdoor swimming pool, tennis&volley&basket courts, outdoor court of restaurants and bars including a beach bar. All rooms have a nice view the pool and courts. Check-in and vallet parking are at Le Le Meridien reception, don't trust the on-line maps.
And all of these at the price of a two stars..?? Actually, the rooms of the Residence building are very compact, basic, but includes a very small kitchen area. Mattress was comfortable. Far from the luxury of Le MEridien's rooms, but if you don't care of the room itself, it is worth to try!
I was not comfortable all the time
Enjoyable
The staff were all very friendly. Food is good at the main hotel block and it was good value for money
Good location with great hotel benefits - gym, pool, beach + restaurants of the Le Meridien. The rooms themselves are tiny with miniscule kitchenette + bathroom, even for downtown. The mattress needs to be replaced - far too soft. The staff was fantastic though and definitely softened the experience. I was there over a long weekend, and the loud music from the garden went on until 12am on a weeknight! since I am looking for a place to stay for a month, it will not be here. Having said that, its not a bad option for a couple of nights, if you get a good deal (under $70/night).
didn't like the experience fully, staff is not fully cooperative. I came to know that le residence is part of le remedien group hotel when i could not find the le residence on my GPS and called the hotel for the guidance.
Le residence is separated fully from le remedien and the comparison bt both is big. Rooms don't have wifi as was shown on booking, and u have to get down to the lobby to get wifi access. Room is so small, and toilet is much smaller than you think. TV only has one channel that skynews, rest i could not find. Room doesn't have tea, only the heater.
on getting access to the room, door is not comfortable in fact. I believe the cost is low, yet it has to be lower than that.
It's a great location but you need to check in at Le Meridian. Le Residence is a part of the property but no taxi knows this. Very convenient to the mall. Highly recommended.
I had a great time at the hotel over the weekend, the service was great and the location is the best everything is close.
it's so pretty stay with comfort i like being there in the next future>
The room looks like a jail , no
Space to stand in wash room or use toilet, very very in convenience
The "Residence" section of Le Meridian is quite dated. The rooms are small and facilities are quite limited. It's in a good location. Has one of the few hotel beaches in good surroundings.
small rooms and old but v.clean and nice and the best of it you can use the le meridian beach and pools like you are a resident there loved it .... :)
This hotel was supposed to be a tear-down to make way for a new bridge Abu Dhabi was building but was subsequently cancelled. Unfortunately little if anything was invested into making this a usable hotel again. Rooms are not only tiny and cramp but in serious need of renovation. Even the door to my room barely worked as the key- card required several attempts every time. Shower had no real hot water as the line was completely calcified and there is no point in repairing it as the investment too high. Overall room was not superficially dirty but in need of deep cleaning or better yet throw everything away and start fresh. Internet is only in the lobby and not the rooms. Only saving grace is that you get to use the full services of the regular Le Meridien like the beach club if that was of any interest which in my case all I wanted was a good night's sleep. Staff however was stellar and did the best they could with a bad situation on something that was out of their control. If I were Starwood I would either divorce this property and sell it or simply tear it down and build something else, expand on the open space of the main resort or better yet make more parking which is sorely needed.
Room is small and already old for the price we paid.
The hotel room was adequate. I did not visit the restaurants as it was Ramadan. I chose the hotel as it was walking distance from where I had business to conduct.
