De douche was koud. Kennelijk moest hij eerst 10 minuten doorlopen voordat deze warm werd maar dat was ons niet verteld.
Visiting Córdoba felt less like visiting a new place and more like coming back to somewhere you have known before. Perhaps it was the setting/ staying right in the heart of the old city, just a ten-minute stroll from the magnificent Córdoba Mosque-Cathedral and the historic Roman Bridge.
From the outside, the hotel looks unassuming, but step through the doors and the magic begins. The interior features a historic floor with ancient artifacts carefully preserved and displayed beneath glass panels, blending the city's rich history directly into the stay. While the layout inside can occasionally feel a bit like a maze, perhaps adding a touch of quirky labyrinthine charm, the overall experience is truly wonderful.
The service is exceptional.
The staff are super friendly and very polite, and the room service is top-notch. Mornings start off right with a wonderful breakfast, and getting around the city couldn't be easier with a bus stop located right in front of the hotel and the historic center all around you.
