I'm afraid there wasn't much to really like.
The hotel was dirty and dusty. There was no chef so food was very limited. There were two twin beds pushed together to make a double which was very uncomfortable. Showers very small and water wasn't very warm.
Lovely clean hotel with great staff very helpful 😀
We also brought our dog which was great.
The owner was from Harrow hence the name and I am from Harrow so that was lovely.
Good, clean, basic accommodation.
Location
Wash basin was leaking in our room.
For some reason some tables at breakfast areas were reserved. We had a family room with 3+ members but those reserved tables were not offered to us. Instead we were directed at 2 seaters which were not comfortable given group size.
Location was great
Bedroom was over looking load of rubbish & rubble
Location and the seafront view
The size of the shower cubicle
Lovely helpful Staff. Rooms had all you need, and they updated my room to a two bed room as I was with my son. Clean rooms. And in a very good location. I loved the classic themed decor in the hall ways.
I liked it all. Only small fault was the bar was advertised as open until 10, and twice i attempted to go there before 10 and it was closed. But I understand it likely wasn't busy so it wouldn't make sense to stay open.
Loved how clean it was ,and great location, friendly manager Paul ,great breakfast .
Nothing ,it was great
Staff were their usual helpful and polite self. Whilst a little dated, this hotel remains excellent value for money and a very good choice of breakfast included. Will be back next year, hopefully!
Unfortunately the shower in my room was without hot water for one day but I was moved, promptly and without fuss, to another, which was perfect.
Easy to park and find. Room was a great size and clean.
Fantastic breakfast. Extremely friendly staff— in fact above and beyond duty!! Perhaps the nicest ‘family run’ hotel in our experience. Well done!
Room was very small and sea view was only visible if you went out on to the balcony.
The location was great but the bus service was about a 10 minute walk away, and because of my partner’s inability to walk far,we had to rely on taxis which were quite expensive. You really need your own transport to see the island properly.
Size of room! Very small facilities e.g. the shower, toilet and sink hardly able to move in and no room to sit comfortably- this was advertised as a luxury, large double room!!
Lovely staff
Well appointed room
