Did the job
Pros:

Good location. Buffet breakfast was great, and the rooms were nice and large.

Cons:

Bathroom could have been cleaner, we found shorts from a previous guest in a drawer, and a few of the corners were mouldy. Staff in the restaurant need better training, and acted like school teenagers together. Pool glass needs regular cleaning too.

My entire stay here was good except for the in house tv.. since our 3 days stay there is not working that is a no no for me. Service and location is excellent

Pros:

住宿地点很方便，去哪里都很快，楼下就是加雅街，比较出名的餐食店都在楼下或者附近。
服务态度也很好，房间老旧但干净，整体来说体验感很不错

Good for a couple of days to regroup after an activity but not as a place to relax and hang out.
Pros:

Centrally located, very easy to spot in the street. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to assist. The bed is very comfortable. Smart tv.

Cons:

The pool area needs some shade. There are only a couple of lounges and no shade. It wasn’t inviting, despite being a good sized pool.

Perfect for 2 days
Pros:

Perfect for an 2 day stopover after climbing mt Kinabalu. Bed, pillows very luxe. Huge bath, greatly appreciated. Looked after additional luggage that we didn’t want to carry for next activity.

Pleasant 6-Night Stay Near Gaya Street
Pros:

Great location right next to Gaya Street, making it easy to explore the area on foot. The hotel is a little old but generally clean, well maintained, and comfortable. I appreciated the key card access to guest floors, which added a sense of security.

The room was cool and comfortable, with strong hot water and good water pressure. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well throughout my stay. The food served at breakfast was generally delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Special thanks to the tall young housekeeping staff member who assisted us promptly with our bedsheet change request on 29 May 2026. He was polite, professional, helpful, and had an excellent attitude. The other housekeeping staff we met were also friendly and accommodating.

Overall, we had a pleasant 6-night stay and would consider staying here again when visiting Kota Kinabalu.

Cons:

The room felt a little dark due to the dark wood furnishings, and brighter lighting would make it feel more welcoming. One of our single beds initially felt slightly uneven, although it was resolved after adjustment.

Breakfast had a reasonable variety of choices, but the menu was almost the same every day, which can become repetitive for longer stays. I would also suggest ensuring buffet lids remain closed during busy periods for better hygiene.

I am quite particular about cleanliness, so I would appreciate it if the hotel could ensure mattress protectors are thoroughly checked and replaced when necessary before new guests check in. There is also no free parking for hotel guests, although a special rate of RM5 per entry is available.
