très bon petit déjeuner. proche de la gare. pas de bruits. onsen agréable sur le toit de l'hôtel. A 15/20mn à pied du château. le personnel est agréable

Lovely thermal bad and great breakfast. Highly recommended
Pros:

The hotel has a great location and an amazing hot spring with outdoor area and sauna. There are a lot of complimentary things, like drinks, icecream, night meal. Breakfast is amazing.
The staff is very friendly. Location very central. Never rent a car in Himeji. Never.

The room is really small.

Séjour parfait, tout en détente !
Pros:

Si nous avions pu mettre 20/10 comme note, nous l'aurions fait ! Notre séjour a été incroyable : onsens femme/homme disponibles toute la nuit au 12eme étage de l'hôtel, sur le toit, glaces gratuites à la sortie, massages possibles, espace manga relaxant, salle pour se poser tranquillement, articles de toilette gratuits (lotion, brosse, coton, brosse à dent etc.) la literie est très confortable et la chambre spacieuse. Environnement très calme, rideaux occultants.. C'était parfait !

Pros:

The onsen was a lovely treat within the city. The room was as I expected. The location is extremely convenient and we were able to walk from the station despite having a lot of luggage. There are some nice izakaya nearby.

Ok, but a poor night sleep.
Pros:

Room was fine, and the breakfast was good.

Cons:

The pillow was exceptionally hard and uncomfortable. I woke up in the morning with neck and back pains from the hard pillow.

Kamers zijn erg klein.
Geen ruimte om je spullen op te bergen.
Gezien het bedrag wat we voor twee overnachtingen hebben betaald geen goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding.

Goede uitvalsbasis in Himeji
Pros:

De onsen (hot spring) op het dak was geweldig: deels in de open lucht, zodat je de sterren kon zien terwijl je in het water lag. De gratis noedelsoep die je laat in de avond in het restaurant kunt krijgen is heel fijn, het personeel is vriendelijk personeel en de locatie, op minder dan 5 minuten lopen van het station, zeer praktisch. Daarmee is het dus ook een goede uitvalsbasis voor de voornaamste attractie van Himeji: het beroemde kasteel, dat net aan de andere kant van het station ligt. Ontbijt was heerlijk, vooral het Japanse aanbod was uitstekend maar ook mensen met een wat meer westerse smaak kunnen goed terecht.

Cons:

De kamer was weliswaar ruim maar wat gedateerd, met oude vloerbedekking en een badkamer die wellicht aan vervanging toe is. Het was een niet-roken kamer maar ik meende wel oude rook te ruiken.
