Fabulous Location in the Heart of Taksim Square
Pros:

Just wrapped up our stay at CVK Hotel Taksim in Istanbul and overall it was a really good experience.
The biggest plus is the location — right in the heart of Taksim Square, with easy access to metro, tram and taxis. Istiklal Street is just outside, so plenty of food options and a lively atmosphere at all times.

I booked the hotel through Booking.com, and the hotel was very responsive and agile on the Booking.com message portal, which made communication easy throughout.

The hotel itself was neat and clean, out room was spacious, hygienic, and the breakfast spread had great variety. A special thanks to Mr. Mazhar for arranging our airport transfer to Sabiha Gökçen and also accommodating us with breakfast parcels due to our early morning flight.

Mr. Murad was always welcoming with a smile and made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. And also every member when they see us coming they use to call the lift in advance.

There’s also a spa in the hotel which I didn’t try, but it had good reviews.

Overall, a comfortable stay with excellent location, responsive service, and very helpful staff. Would definitely consider staying again.

Tip for travellers: For short distances, it’s best to use Uber rather than hailing taxis on the street. It adds a layer of transparency and accountability as a mediator between you and the driver.

In my experience, Uber support was responsive and even refunded an overcharge after I raised a concern. It just gives extra peace of mind, especially in busy tourist areas.
Nothing to do with the hotel — just a general tip to make your trip smoother.

Cons:

One area for improvement would be accessibility — the main entrance has several steps, which makes it less stroller or wheelchair friendly. That said, the staff were always helpful and assisted us whenever needed.
Bonus: our room had a beautiful view of Taksim Mosque.

Все отлично,но расположение (очень шумно круглосуточно, спать можно только с закрытыми окнами).
Pros:

вид из окна на мечеть, отличные завтраки, хорошая сантехника, всегда горячая вода с хорошим напором, отличный матрац, качественное белоснежное постельное белье, ежедневная смена полотенец и пост.белья, вынос мусора и каждый день 2 бутылочки воды

Cons:

Сменить тумбу в ванной - очень уставшая, номер 1409. Нет ни одного тв-канала на русском языке.

Great stay at CVK Taksim Hotel in Istanbul! The location is perfect right in Taksim Square, making it easy to explore the city. The staff were very friendly and professional, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Breakfast was also excellent with plenty of options. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.
