Nice people & location but hot in the room
Pros:

As many of the other reviews state, the hotel management goes above and beyond to help you - they recommended three high quality places - Le Lova, Au Petit Glou and l'Escale. The hotel is very centrally located and steps away from the action.

Cons:

We visited in mid-June (aka early in the summer) and it was already very warm in the room. We were told that they do not need AC as it is cold from the end of September until May. However, you cannot open the windows at night to cool off because 1) there's a decent amount of noise from the street and a nearby bar and 2) the streetlights are very bright. So in our opinion, you DO need AC as the alternative option is very poor at night.

Great hotel in Luchon
Pros:

Just what you want from a hotel: clean, quiet, and comfortable for a very reasonable price. We stayed here for three days and really enjoyed it; the proprietors were very welcoming and provided a good breakfast, with baked goods, yogurt, eggs, ham and cheese and fruit. The room was very clean (tidied up each day) and the bed was very comfortable. I would definitely return.

2 stars at best.
Pros:

This is an old musty unrenovated hotel worthy of 2 stars at best, not 3. The internet quality is poor, disconnecting at least every five minutes. The location is good. No need to pay for hotel's private parking as there is a public lot right next to it. Be that as it may, 82€ was not an unfair price.
