The breakfast juices were awful. They were not actual fruit juice but very dilute squash which tasted terrible.
TV in my room wasn't working which I reported to reception. The receptionist acknowledged but I wasn't offered another room or compensation.

I just wanted good value, functional accommodation in the right place with a good breakfast. That's exactly what I got.

Continuous standards that don’t falter.
Pros:

I have been staying at this hotel for long enough to achieve Platinum Member status. I have experienced similar levels with other providers only as time passes, to have the expected ‘familiarity breeds invisibility’ process make its mark. Not so with the team here at Ibis Quayside, Aderdeen. They say that the whole atmosphere of any business come from the top, in this case it does - the staff really do speak well of ‘the boss’, MagdaTonight is for me the end of a very stressful day and some time at the bar was an essential wind down. As a well known face I was asked how my day had been - and I without overdoing it, came clean. The response from the guys on duty - Indre and Miguel was SO lovely - the staff that work here really care about their clients. Now here’s a thing - the night staff are NO different - how often can you say - thank you all! If you haven’t stayed here - do so. You will not regret it!
