Sante Wellness Retreat & Spa

This was our second visit. The property is in the most beautiful setting with gorgeous views. The staff are extremely hospitable. The food is so tasty and healthy too! The spa was fantastic and the massages we got were some of the best we ever had. 10/10

We had a 6 wonderful nights stay at the Sante, it was truly a relaxing luxurious experience.
We were warmly welcomed and shown the extensive facilities of the hotel and spa.

The Room

The room was huge with luxurious finishes and a wonderful ambience. I have never seen a bigger shower and the freestanding bath was an experience, looking out on the fabulous views. The bed was extremely comfortable and the cleanliness, to the highest of standards. I can’t really think of anything that they could improve!

The Staff

All of the staff that we came into contact with, from the reception to the restaurants to the spa were friendly and provided exceptional levels of professional service. They have been trained to the highest of standards and really make you feel at home.

The Food

The hotel is gluten and dairy free, with all the food being fresh and natural. They have set menus that change everyday for each meal. The food was always to a particularly high standard, as was the freshness of ingredients. The breakfast was particularly inviting!

The Facilities

The hotel has wonderful facilities, including two pools (with amazing views) and a spa with all the services you could require. We used the spa a lot and every treatment we had was excellent.

We would highly recommend anyone visiting the area to stay at the Sante. We are already planning our next trip back!

The rooms were great and the area is beautiful. The location being near farms means there are plenty chances of insects entering the room so need to keep the doors tidy shut. Super quiet hotel with only healthy food choices by design. If you are looking to meditate this is your place.

Absolutely a fantastic place. A bit off the beaten path, but dead center of the best of Stellenbosch wine country. Great service. Only 10 suites in the main building, so very quiet and relaxing. The spa is beautiful. The food is fantastic and healthy. Yes, it can be both. Great attention to detail. We will be back.

A nice hotel but completely in the middle of nowhere. If the Uber that you ordered is really coming is not save as some drivers refuse the final 3km over the gravel road.
No breakfeast buffet but a small selection of a la card and health oriented food..
The same applies to the dinner . Only one menue to choose and as it is far away from anything else you do not just go around the corner to grab something.

Great spot that is completely new. Only knock would be to have the outdoor pool heated and more waters available in the room especially considering you're in wine country drinking a lot of wine

One of my worst hotel experiences ever. My expensive Boss suit was ruined by their housekeeping service using a hot iron on it and then refusing to compensate me for it, despite their house manager accepting liability. Due to their incompetence, the wedding of my niece was spoilt for me. Would never stay there again and would never recommend anyone else to either.

Sante is a truly remarkable wellness retreat in the Winelands.

From arrival to departure, we embarked on a short wellness journey that captivated us feeling completely spiritually, mentally and physically rejuvenated, re energized and relaxed.

We stayed in a lovely luxurious suite overlooking the courtyard. The views all round were magnificent. With an abundance of wellness programs, spa treatments and complimentary facilities, one is spoilt for choice.

The cuisine was exceptional and extremely healthy. The service was outstanding.

Gardens, outdoor and indoor pool areas and gym all spaciously situated on the Estate surrounded by immaculate gardens and beautiful mountains.

What a memorable experience. I highly recommend this amazing retreat and am certain to return to this unique gem for complete mind, body and soul healing.

Our stay was amazing and nice. Everything was elegant, nicely furnished, paintings were wonderful. Food was nicely set and good. Thank you.

As soon as I walked into the magnificent reception area at Sante I knew I would want to return. We had landed in Cape Town Airport in the late afternoon and we ere picked up by our driver Bev for the transfer to the retreat. A must because you will arrive already relaxed and not having to deal with the Cape Town traffic.
The check in was seem less and we were not rushed to dinner even though our arrival was later in the evening. Our room was beautiful with plenty of space and an amazing view. The food was fresh and innovative and our spa treatments were so relaxing. The spa team were very flexible with our choices and extremely professional and kind. We did not visit other areas as we really needed to totally unwind and that is what we did!
Everything about this outstanding retreat was just what we required and we will return one day to experience this special place again!

Beautiful property with lovely facilities

Coming to Sante on dirt road indicated something very quiet and special and it was. beautiful place, tasteful decorated on a big land and beautiful view.
Very big room, romantic bathroom and balcony with dream view.
We just laved it.
Suggestion for management, do something more about food, as people who stay at your place probably would like to eat at spot.
Very simple selection for breakfast: coconut yoghurt with fruit, eggs and boring, but probably healthy muffin. Same breakfast each morning.
We took dinner only once, again seems like same menu each day and quality and taste not fitting to Sante` niveau.

Went on a half day package which was a massage and lunch included.
The massages were good and of excellent standard. You could use the spa facilities afterwards. The change / showers are excellent generously large.

The lunch was just above average. But healthy.

Perfect place for recharging and forgetting about work! Friendly staff, wonderful rooms, great food, and the perfect place to escape from work! The rooms are spacious and well decorated, very comfortable and peaceful. The food was great, and even though I enjoy all of the unhealthy types of food, the gluten-free/sugar-free/super healthy options were truly wonderful. the spa has some really great options so you can choose a different treatment each day. Mountain bikes are available, but the roads are not great for riding on when vehicles fly by on the dirt road doing 60 kph. I would ask that the staff find farms in the area that would be willing to allow cycling on their roads instead of asking the customer to ride up random places and ask.

The evenings are peaceful and enjoying a glass of wine on the patio before dinner was very enjoyable. Definitely going back again!

Nicest place we have ever stayed. The facilities and the staff were amazing. The food was excellent and the views are something you have to experience.
